| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 12:41:04 AM | | Well if its so gross then dont look, pretty simple. I actually think the bald look works fine, it takes a certain person to pull it off well. Its just not your taste, im sure there are lots of women out there that love it. | |

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 6:43:43 AM | I used to have a completely bald head. It was less work to keep groomed (I take great pride in my hygeine, and a bald head has much easier maintenance than hair), and it looked a bit more professional than what I have now (alternately an afro and cornrows, depending on how I'm feeling).
I noticed that when I had the bald head, I attracted one kind of woman who loves to rub a bald head, and these women tended (just a tendency, not every time) to be a bit more formal. Once I started growing it back, I began to attract other kinds of women who love running their fingers through lots of coiled, thick hair. These tended to be the "wilder" ones. I suppose maybe I look like I don't take myself too seriously now. People would tell me I was scary-looking with a bald head, but with the hair, I'm told I look like a teddy bear (I don't get it either).
Some women seem to like a guy who looks like he could protect her and beat somebody's ass at the drop of a hat.. and yet others don't care and just want a guy who'll be a lot of fun.

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 9:18:54 AM | I couldn't tell you why. I can tell most guys do it to hide their receding hairline...it's better than a comb-over anyday. Some women don't mind the bald look and goatee ala "Stone Cold" Steve Austin...whatever floats their boat. I COULD just say...compensation(Watch the responses after that cat jumped outta that bag)? Or I could just say they just do it for the sake of doing it. C'est la vie. It's like if I were to ask why women have that crazy shoe fetish thing going on. There is no plausible answer...it just IS. | |

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 9:53:53 AM | I would also like to add: Peer Pressure, Military Experience, The Bad Boy/Biker Look, It is still Stylish and accepted, Keeps the Lice down (LOL), Is Lickable, Easier to be spotted by Aircraft if lost, Dont have to wash butter out of your hair when you get your head stuck between the bars in the playground, Easier to apply the self Tanning Lotion, Don't have to worry about the goats eating your new "DOO" when you fall asleep in the yard, Easier to lie about your true Hair Color (Ladies might want to use that one), Easier to wear those elaborate wigs in the neighborhood productions of "Le Cage Au Follies "(sp?), Cuz daddie looked like that when he came home after 5 to 10years, Well you get the idea.
I think the total combination of answers you have recieved in this thread have said most of it. "And that's the bottom Line, 'cuz Stone Cold sez so".

Got news for you... I don't like it and neither do alot of my female friends and we've all been wondering about this strange phenomenon among men.
Well I have some news for you also, many, many women that I know think it is hot, hot, hot !! Depends on the guy, some carry it off really well, others less well. I happen to like a shaved bald head, but it doesnt suit everyone. I would go out with a man who had hair on his head just as I would go out with a man who shaved his head bald. Depends on the guy, and if there is something that piques my interest.

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 1:35:41 PM | I shave my head. I dont do it for any style reasons. I do it for personal comfort and for work reasons.
Initially I started shaving it about 14 years ago. I work in the automotive repair industry. After a long day at the shop in the heat, humidity, dust, dirt, and grime I couldnt stand how my hair felt. I know that it can be washed out as soon as I got home and shower up. I had to wash my hair about 3 times to get it clean. The gray bubbles, and sometimes no bubbles because of how dirty it was at times, on the first washing really bothered me. The remedy was simple... after the first week in the business I shaved it all off.
I live in Florida and not having the hair actually made me feel cooler. And... I didnt have to put my hands in that nasty gritty hair ever again.
I don't miss it. Now I do let it grow a little from time to time. It has not been longer then an inch in the past 14 years. I dont like the feel of it even if it is clean anymore.
Thats why I bic the lid. (actually I use a mach 3)

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 1:44:20 PM | I suppose everyone has different interest......whereas you may not find that attractive...I see a lot of women out there with men like that....I personally dont like it.
I dont like beards......or facial hair.......clean shaven is nice.....but I do like the longer hair (shoulders length)
although balding doesnt bother me.....trying to comb over three hairs to hide it does :)
Leave it to Beaver haircuts are too weird for me.
A day or two where a guy hasnt shaved can be interesting (at times) depends on what time it is :)

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 7/3/2007 1:49:13 PM | There are a couple guys on this site that are (in my opinion) nice looking.....that is if I were going for the outter appearances.....which Im not.....I prefer peering from the inside out and then seeing the outside in (silly...I know)
but anyway.....
Montreal Guy.......you have this Sean Connery type flare about your looks that seems highly attractive....at least to me
and *no*......that wasnt a come-on....merely a compliment....grins
Of course my opinions shouldnt matter too much considering I havent made a choice yet to *date* anyone....or on whom I want to take that next step with.....as far as meeting.....but it'll happen.....someday

Completely bald is much more socially acceptable than balding. In fact, it's stylish. Shave your head, don a suit, and suddenly Joe Shmuck starts looking like a somebody
Only if they want to look like someone that will hear the following line at sometime in their lives "Have the jury returned a verdict".
I've often had my hair shaved off, but going as far as using a razor on it every couple of days never done and probably never will.

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 12/18/2007 9:28:47 AM | I would never big my lid, or my lid o' love as my penis would be too intimidating, look to large and some girl is going to tell me no.... long hair hides several inches if you comb it right.... or into a puffy afro

far as my hair on my head.. all is well in that dept.

| Why do guys bic thier lids? Posted: 12/18/2007 9:28:55 AM | I like the little bit of fuzz on my guys head but I don't see anything wrong with bicing it. And I really don't see it as a new trend though either. Men have been doing this for years. Where have you been OP? Some of them look better without the hair too. | |
