1. Take a friend with you.They will be brutally honest.
2. If you do not have a teenage girl to help you, borrow your niece, your neighbours.
3. Go to a store and ask for individual attention and have them pick stuff out. That is their job and trust me it is nice to find stuff that looks great that you would have normally not tried on.
4. Go to a store geared towards your age and style you are looking for. Around here I love Winners, Laura, and surprisingly Reitmans(because of my small size). I also like a small shop downtown that is not a chain.

PS Go all out to a hairdresser(don't go cheap here!) and ask them for a hair makeover. That is great too! If you don' t have one, ask a friend for one. | |

Posted: 7/9/2007 10:53:15 PM | OP. Honestly those outfits you mentioned are great to look at give the right body is wearing them. But it does give me an insight to there personality and what they are trying to attract.
It has been said that women dress not for men but for other women. I believe this to some extent, as most of us guys never even look at women's shoes, something that lots of women take great pride in. Being mature and dressing accordingly is sexy in its self, and well help you find a man that is mature as well. Try to chose clothes that your comfortable with and while still being flirty. The right amount of cleavage can do this nicely, so can a anklet, as I find them sexy for some unknown reason. The over all look of clothes, hair, makeup, jewelry, nails should be targeted to the type of man you wish to attract. Lets not forget about fragrance, I really dislike an over powering amount of perfume on a other wise very sharply dress woman, to such a turn off.
I do love a woman in a nice summers dress. My favorite outfit/style is the very sexy thigh high boots and skirt combo that leaves that oh so little bit of leg showing.
I can spot that from a mile down the road in my rear-view mirror while doing 60 down a crowded freeway. Also can be worn with the above mentioned warm and comfy turtle neck sweater in cooler temps. Plunging neckline or Veer cut blouses, with a sparkling pendent nestled a valley of cleavage is a great way to attract an eye. Just don't be mad when we take a peek. (not staring! Just browsing ) Don't be afraid to make new trends and not to follow them.

The tight little outfits may get a rise out of most guys (including myself, i won't lie) but girls that get more attention than just getting a salute from my penis are the ones that dress comfortably, and conservatively.
Regular jeans or khakis with a collared shirt... a cute little sweater maybe... tshirts are just fine. Long skirts that hug the hips are VERY hot. | |

Posted: 7/10/2007 4:31:36 AM | Maybe it's fair to ask are you dressing primarily for yourself or are are you dressing to principally appeal to the tastes of others. I think that there are two ways to answer this one.
The first way is to look at your peer group to see what successful single women of that age range who are attracting the attention of men are wearing. Then go after that style or look. After all, what better indicator to go by than what seems to work in your demographic. Nothing succeeds like success, does it?
The second course is to dress in a way that makes you feel like who you actually are. The pro side of this choice is that men won't get a crossed signal a to who you are or who they think you are and those who show an initial attraction to you are thinking "what you see is what you get." The con side of this choice is your sense of style and taste may not attract as many potential suitors so they might be fewer to choose from. | |

I'm a leg man, and a mini that's cut to the size of a belt will get me to look....but that's about it. There's a certain "sweet spot" on a woman's leg (varies with individual women) where a skirt just looks incredibly sexy.
The simple classic l'il black dress ? 
Jeans ? T-Shirts ? A hint of cleavage ? 
I'll have to stop and take a cold shower now.

Low-cut strappy tanks.
Halter tops.
off-the-shoulder tops.
Anything strapless.
Those one-shoulder tops (is that what they're called?).
And dresses of the same types above. I like skirts, my 2 faves is if they're long, have a slit up to the girl's thigh, but mostly I like the minis. I don't think the "micros" are that hot.
But jeans on a girl... now that's hot. | |

However, I equally adore the "simple all black" look. Simple black figure hugging top (turtle necks are best), jeans and a pair of black Docs. for example. Unbeatable! Alas, I have met every who who are able to pull off either of the "looks". | |

Their regular clothing line is invariably 'sexy' with a capital S, and is geared towards women who aren't afraid to show off what they have. If you think you'd be comfortable in that, you'll get the attention of most men, and from then on can let your 'personality' do the talking. Now, whether or not they can handle being with a sexily dressed woman is another thing. Some men prefer plainly dressed women. | |
