| Dallas Cowboys and NFL predictions Posted: 5/26/2008 3:36:41 PM | I do not know where you were this season. But the Pats losing to the Giants by one point is a spanking. Did you not hear all the Pats fans crying in there sleep that night?
Wiz 18 - and ONE Pats lost to the Giants in the Superbowl ... see I know football Wiz why are you not arguing with your euro Buddie
IF ........... IF............. Three was a the charm IF.......... Wake up its over... Cowboys lost IF
You are hilarious. It was a tight & competive game, but i was not surprised at New England's loss. Sure, they may have set tons of scoring records, BUT they also play in a weak AFC East division where Buffalo finished 2nd despite a7-9 record.
Patrick Crayton to me is a guy that talks wayyy too much shit & never backs any of it up on the field. After that drop, the Cowboys never had another big-play opportunity for the rest of the game as the Giants' defensive line harassed Tony Romo for a huge majority of the 4th quarter.
It's not the end of the world though for New England, they will re-load their weapons & be right back in the playoff hunt next season...the post Super Bowl curse for the losing team will at least be halted for 1 year.
I still want to hear where this Super Bowl XLII spanking came from...since you had the guts to say it, now it's time to back your facts up.

Lets see how many times was Brady sacked and how many times did he get hammered? I remember one sack where he was horizontal in mid air what a sight to have seen, sorry you missed the spanking
BUT they also play in a weak AFC East division where Buffalo finished 2nd despite a7-9 record. Oh don't let the Pat fans hear what you just said. You better duck while you have the chance.
Facts you say: .......................... New York Giants Spank New England's undefeated Season's team back to next year........ Maybe

Yes, the Giants did a tremendous job of pressuring Brady for the entire game, but it's not like they had total control. Eli Manning & the offense made several mistakes on offense, but got away with it thanks to an amazing defensive performance. Give Steve Spagnulo heaps of credit for drawing up a perfect gameplan to slow down New England's high-powered offense.
Still, it was far from a spanking.
Now the Cowboys' back-to-back wins over the Bills in the early 90's for Super Bowl wins....THAT was a spanking!
I call it like i see it. New England dominated a weak division & their flaws started to show after their Week 9 win over Indianapolis.

Seems a bit of a contradiction in what you say in just one sentence.
spank·ing –adjective 1. moving rapidly and smartly. 2. quick and vigorous: a spanking pace. 3. blowing briskly: a spanking breeze. 4. Informal. unusually fine, great, large, etc.; remarkable; distinctive: a spanking monogram in gold embroidery. –adverb 5. Informal. extremely, strikingly, or remarkably; very: three little girls in spanking new dresses.

I would believe that the Giants defence ruled in no#1 and 2 and 3

I think teams just started to figure the Patriots out but all in all they kept winning.

Words Crazy loves to use....Spanking is certainly in your vocabulary.
Although your math skills are atrocious. 17-14 was the outcome and went down to the last minute.
But last year was last year. Giants won't repeat and may not even make to the playoffs. The team to beat is still the Patriots.
BUT they also play in a weak AFC East division where Buffalo finished 2nd despite a7-9 record.
As I do recall at the beginning of the season, didn't they say the Jets were going to give the Patriots a run for their money? How about Dolphins with their new found QB Trent Green? We all thought Buffalo was going to do horrible. It became a weak division near mid season.

| Dallas Cowboys and NFL predictions Posted: 6/21/2008 4:50:17 AM | I am a Cowboys fan myself and I personally do not see another contender in the NFC with an exception of the Seahawks. The Vikings look pretty good too, but TJ needs to step up for them to even get to the post season.
Call me insane, but I see the Jaguars going to the Super Bowl. They have the best smash mouth football team in the league. They are built to play in December and January and if their two rookie defensive ends do their job, the Jags will finally have what it takes to get past the Colts and Patriots.
Dallas does have what it takes to make it to the Super Bowl, but they need to stop relying so heavily on their passing game in December and January. Balls are harder to throw and catch in the cold so team like the Pats, Colts, and Cowboys are not as productive late in the season. If the Cowboys want to get to the big game, the need to lean on Barber when the post season rolls around. Afterall, two of the last three teams to win the Super Bowl were running teams (The Steelers and the Giants). The Colt won the Super Bowl the year before, but a lot of their game plan in the post season revolved around Addai and Rhodes.

Now that the Patriots can't record signals, they are done for.
I highly doubt it and it obvious you are only fixated on the Patriots for doing it. You don't realize that other teams were doing it too. Recording signals never really gave them the upper hand.

You always amaze me "Mr. Wizard of OZ" by your defensive comments for your amazing New England Patriots. The Gods of football as you see them. Sorry, they just couldn't win just one more game with just seconds left which happened to be the Superbowl and have that perfect season and break the record books for sure. Thank God there is a God that watches over even football games. A team that so many thought should never have even been there, the Giants a sixth string team beat them. Seems to me many would not agree with you that in the whole season of 2007 the Patriots won all their games playing with out cheating even once during their 18 and 0 record at the time. An almost perfect season and not one of those wins were made without knowing the signals of the other team??? I doubt it very much. You are truly blinded by your Brady bunch pride. You answered "other teams were doing it too" a very childish answer I might say. Six year olds know that response as well as you. Everyone cheats so why can't we cheat because everyone does it. Part of your mentality I guess. Which I noticed that what ever you say in the forums is the truth and only the truth. In the eyes of the Wizard of Oz. You fit the character well just like the movie.
But being this is a Dallas Cowboys thread and not every thread turns into a Patriots "Rule" thread. I do hope the Dallas Cowboys give the Giants a good fight as they did last season. Two out of three is very good.

You of all people to even criticize me for defending my team. One comment about your Giants and you throw a tantrum like a 2 year old girl.
Thank God there is a God that watches over even football games.
And I also bet you have an imaginary girlfriend too....

You need to do a whole lot of football reading to catch up and I mean a lot of football reading. Maybe the "football Gods" could help you. I like how you speak for everyone. You know what they say when you speak for people...."Get all the fools on your side and you can be elected to anything". Where's Fishernick when you need him?
Each year teams bring in new signals to the game and they did not carry their last year's signals to a new year. Some signals are even quite obvious, which teams pick up. Not just the Patriots take notice, but your Giants too. To even read what you just said is quite a....Never mind. I wanted to insult you, but you are not too smart to notice.
In the eyes of the Wizard of Oz. You fit the character well just like the movie.
And you played the Scarecrow.... And what did the Scarecrow need in the movie?

What you believe in or not is your own business. Imaginary God is what you meant, I am sure. My God is not imaginary but that's another thread
Do not ever include me with Fishernick
And you played the Scarecrow....
Better look way way back who was the scarecrow. I was nominated the King of the Giants fan club on POF. I am sure you can fill your ears with some straw on the ground and remember.
