Posted: 2/13/2009 11:45:48 AM | By the time I was twenty I was partners in a business and had been through most of the states of the Union, traveled to India, etc. There was no lack of intelligence among the girls of my age, but there was a lack of life experience. The only women I dated were those in their late-twenties or early thirties. By that age they were grounded, knew what they wanted and could offer viewpoints of someone who had a life she was already in the midst of, not just beginning to investigate. Initially the women didn't know my age because of the my maturity. When they found out, they were surprised but accepting. I was living with a woman of 30 when I was 22. At 25 I married a woman of 29 who had a child, whom I adopted.
I don't mean to generalize about all 20 year olds. In my time the world was much smaller and girls had only just begun to spread their wings and break out of the confines of society. But I maintain that there's no replacement for life experience. The measure is not a chronological number, of course it is a matter of maturity. Be you woman or man, if you are, "older than your years," then you will be attracted to people you feel on an equal level with. | |

Posted: 2/13/2009 11:57:38 AM | Not all women dress in short skirts, tight clothes and blah for the men. Sometimes just do it because they want too... Also can't judge a women by her cover. Just cause she may dress " slutty" doesn't mean she's dumb or easy or well a slut, etc. As far as being able to hold up a conversation, well shouldn't use that against a women that much. Not everyone is good at making or keeping up a conversation and I think it's not fair to use it against them.
Everyone is different, so maturity can happen pretty early or pretty late or heck not even at all. | |

Posted: 2/13/2009 12:21:49 PM | I can't speak for anyone but myself...and not to be conceited but I am 20 going on 21 next month...and I am classy, I am a good conversationalist, intelligent and so forth.
It is NOT automatic that once you get older you become classy/sophisticated. That is silly to think that. It is WHO the person is....simply put. So one can find classy older women likewise airheaded, classless ones.
I often say I don't date guys my age because of immaturity and whatnot...but in all honesty I realize I have met several men 5-8 years older than me that are just as immature and silly as what I perceived many guys my age to be, if not worst...so I realize I can't pigeonhole people due to age, but I have to look at the specific individual.... | |

That's a misperception. Maturity is and always has been based on the individual. Some girls are mature, some aren't. It's the same with the guys. What is often observed as "maturity" is in reality nothing but a difference in hormones. Increased testosterone levels causes the need for physical exertion which is often observed as disruptive behavior in class or the constant need of boys to wrestle or horse around. Many girls with higher testosterone levels have the same problem. Women that give birth are often thought of as becoming more mature but in reality its just another shift in the hormones. | |

Posted: 3/9/2009 11:30:19 AM | The only thing girls in their 20's have offered me is a bj, and even THAT I can turn down. Seriously. It's like the 1st thing they have is to meet you, find you attractive, blow you, and sleep with you... and then... nothing.
Forget converstation, hanging out, developing a friendship, let alone a relationship. You wonder if people just go on free sites for sex, but experience says that women are just as "hard up" for a "roll in the hay", as the guys on here.
And as for the "relationship" people, I've come to the conclusion that a majority of those women are probably dating the same 50 or so guys that "qualify" for this "privledge", because they sure seem to hold out for the improbable if not the impossible. (Rich, successful, attractive and looking to settle down without even knowing you in the first place, yeah, I'm sure those guys have to go to a free site to meet potiential suitors, Yeah Surre!!! Whatever!)
Oh well as they get older, they will "hear the music stopping and look for a chair", when that happens, then it's the guys turn to return the favor, I guess. | |

I know a few 3o ish women who are no where near classy or sophisticated. and i have friends younger than I am who are classy, well grounded, and have good conversation skills. Posted: 3/16/2009 11:20:34 AM | I think nature is cruel to both men and women. Women are at the height of their physical attractiveness in their twenties. But with a few notable exceptions their minds, judgment, and understanding of men have not kept pace with their bodies. It would be unfair to expect otherwise.
As a man approaching his forties -- gulp!-- I see many women in my age group who clearly were hot as all hell in their twenties. They played their cards -- such as they were -- years ago and find themselves in an unfamiliar position now of actually having to do some work in finding a guy. And I see guys my age -- I've been guilty on occasion -- drawn to women in their twenties as a moth is drawn to a fire, without any concern as to other measures of compatibility.
I remember watching an episode of "Parental Control" on MTV -- I find social pathology fascinating -- in which the parents of a guy were at odds with a girlfriend from Hell. The guy chose to remain with his girlfriend, but issued a clear warning to her -- "Never stop being hot."
There are exceptions. In my area of the country, we have a number of "Cougars" who clearly are enjoying their newly heightened sex drives. They appear to have no regrets and are simply enjoying life. I like watching them, and you should note that they often are drawn to guys in their twenties. Guys that age are less intimidating than someone like me, I guess. In any event, I myself spend entirely too much time looking at women in their twenties. | |

Older women don't need just sex to feel good, they need somebody who will care about them. Eventually it evens out in the end. But it sure as hell is odd, isn't it? Logical fallacies can be quite perplexing. | |

Not all women who dress sexy, " slutty ", whatever like that are trashy or whatever. Believe it or not some who do dress that way simply cause they want too, dress that way for themselves.
In the summer weather I like to dress sexy, "slutty" but i'm far from being a slut or whatever.
I guess how you dress is part of being classy but then there's your actions, words too. To me, you can dress "slutty" but still be classy in the sence of actions and words.. Classyness shouldn't be mainly based on what she is wearing.
In the end, don't judge a women or even a man by his/her cover. You can't assume if a women dresses "slutty" that she's a slut for an example. Or if a guy dresses like a bum doesn't mean he's a bum. | |

That been said ! I`m over 40, and dated many girls that where in ther 2os, for SEX!
yes I`m shallow and a Pig,! But hey never meet a women how did not love for IT!
That`s IT, ther young and there's allot of drama ,that is attached to them.
But I also meet may that acted like 40yrs olds, Very Mature. Most women that are young are still trying to figure out what it`s to be a woman, and it takes years.. look at all the women MAG`s that are out ther. And the same article comes out on ALL.
Do women know what they want? Or What a women want`s? yes good luck.
I now like my women older and a couple of scraps on ther Knee-Caps, yes experience!
