Beautiful day in the neighborhood. :) Its sunny and the temp is jusssst perfect so far! Yesterday morning as i was headed out the parking lot at work, i was facing the river (and the houses that line it) and ohhhhhhh was it a gorgeous site! The sun was up and out and shining right thru this gathering of pine trees in someones yard, and ohhhhh what a site!! The suns rays were filtered thru the limbs and with the little bit of fog we had it was just breathtaking! Definitely a Kodak Moment!!! Gosh i love early mornings!
Yanno what Kat? Tho we've never had the pleasure of meeting in person, YET!!, i too feel a connection with you! Its amazing how we can form friendships online that feel every bit as special as 'real life'!  You shoulda heard me laughing out loud here when you said you had to ask your sons what Hump Day meant! hahahahahaa!! Omg i can only imagine the looks on their faces you asking them that! hahahahaha!

Posted: 9/14/2007 8:13:04 AM | oh you guys are great...i just love this thread...always brings a smile to my face...whoohooo, tell your daughter to remember to treat herself to something nice with her first paycheck ergo...snowowl, my kids graduated from roscommon high, lol, did you ever see the colors along I-75 right before the west branch exit...beautiful there, lol, actually everywhere, we do live in the most beautiful state don't we...lol, rip, it was too funny, lol, they knew my mind was in the gutter, we all got a good laugh out of it...john, i hate naps, lol, always feel like i'm gonna miss something...taking the grandson to the park here shortly, dang hope you all enjoy this beautiful day....bear hugs

This much I can say............THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY.......woo hooooooooo.....don't have to hear the alarm go off for two days......thats a great way for me to start my weekend.....yeah buddy.........

I can't wait for the leaves to start changing. I'm ready for the seasons to change and bow hunting season to start. I love waking up in the morning, stumbling out of my tent, smelling the fresh air, turning on the camp stove to make coffee the crawling back into my sleeping bag until its done. | |

Well, hate to say it, but the new job that I loved so much....gone. I built this persons' business up what with all the people, contacts I have in my local area, and a week ago today over the phone, this person told me to find a new job - couldn't afford to pay me...I am in such a financial mess, no income coming in, no family here in MI, just about got to the point where I don't care......not sure what the answer is anymore...

Johnboy and Kattadoodles,,,,just been busy with this dang going to school right in the middle of my sleeping time for work! I dont even know half the time if im comin or goin!  
Came down with a cold yesterday which sucks cuz tomorrow night is that Commodores Ball! lol l'll be all dudded up but with a runny nose and watery eyes! lol Ill look like Alice Cooper by the end of the night with my mascara half runnin down my face! lolol
Well hell,,,,,,guess id better get out and mow my backyard, aka The Amazon. lol

kat, let me get this right, you have 16 credit hours to go and you say you are a math teacher? hmmmmmmmmmm this isn't "adding" up in my mind, I even tried using my slide rule from high scool.......... it must be some kind of new math, is it the metric system? j/k
I think its great you guys are going to school, I wish I was that motivated. I did think about going to culinary school after I retired but the good ones are just so much money. | |

Well im very glad to hear that since math has been my problem child since back in my school days! lol I did take the refresher math course which i did surprisingly very well on (4.o), and am now taking Dimensional Analysis (pre-req for nursing) which wow,,is pretty easy!! Easier than regular math actually!
One neighbor so far has her halloweenie stuff up too Kat. I cant quite part with my summer stuff yet,,,,im still holding on to summer! lolol
John,,,if i can get some decent shots ill post one or 2, but really, i dont take very well to getting my pic taken. Plus right now i have a monster of a cold which wouldnt be very attractive. lolol We'll see!! And ty,,,,i am looking forward to this evening tho!!
As far as school John, do they have anything more affordable at the local college in your area? There is always financial aide and scholarships too you could look into. I hear ya about waiting so long tho! Wish i would have done this much sooner but yanno how it is. You get into the working world and you just dont have the energy to go to school too (especially if you are also raising a family), but hell, cant be a CNA for the rest of my life ~ the money sucks and the job itself is just way too physical the older i get!! Ohhhhhh my weary bones! lol
Welp,,,off to file and paint my nails and 'wash that gray right outta my hair!' haha

The wind is reeeeally pickin up here but ohhhhhhh does it feel nice!! Perfectttt temp!
John,,that party i went to was really nice! The food was great, the drinks went down good (lol), the music was eh,,so so! lol They hired some guy who was supposed to be fron the hmm,,,,well im not sure which era! lol He sang a lot of Sinatra tunes ( ) haha,,, but actually he did do a really good job. lol He did his thing till later when the REAL dj came on and played some ' good' stuff. LOL Pictures? Yuck! lol The snaps of me are horrible,,not surprising! We did do a group pic of my family that was there and we should be getting those back in a few days. IF those ones turn out better,,ill post those. lol I did get to bring home a Betta fish tho! They were the centerpieces on the tables and im actually really liking the lil fella.
Anywayyyy,,,i hope those of you who attended the Checkers party had a great time! John did you go?

I Was thinking about going camping and bow hunting this week. With the wind and the rain we're getting I'm glad I stayed home. Its not easy to take aim while being up in a tree 20-25 feet while it sways back and forth, besides that fact that I might spill my coffee 
Rip the guy was singing Sinatra songs? Geez I don't know if even know if I would have liked that, he should have done Dean Martin songs instead
No I didn't go to Checkers even though I live about 3 miles from there. I was hoping to get a last minute invitation to a more formal function in the St Clair area. | |

Well Kat,,i did it. Today was the day. I took down all my hanging flowers off the porch and steps and put up my halloween flag and small fall flag. lol I really do hate to see summer go, tho im not gonna miss the too hot temps we had!! Shew weeeeeeee it was a hot one!

Can't believe the yard is still looking as great as it is! The mums look awesome and I put all he fall decorations up 2 weeks ago! Have to say, I love love love autumn in Michigan-- it's just so sad that it leads to winter Not a fan of the cold stuff, especially so as I'm getting older
