Winter sleeps aloof. Outside, hoarfrost drizzles lace. Icy fingers fasten the wedding gown of a head-to-toe virgin whitewashing a blemished dreamscape.
But, Calliope burns and verses clamor like ivy alive in the shaft of the sun. Green stretching. Words climb. We are born.

| Fingerpainting Posted: 3/30/2008 1:30:36 PM | I saw the forest skip stones across a stillwater pond. Atomic waves purling and, I thought of your lamp-lit hands. The choreography, of a phosphorous city. Its emerald hum and beaded avenues a rosary. | |

To Grandchildren not yet born
There is nothing more invincible turning a confident woman to mush Then holding a new baby close to your heart Hearing little whimpering and cooing sounds Igniting the electrons in our female consciousness
Instinctively we evolve again When looking down into the eyes of a child A child of our child A little being that some how we spawned
Generations turning on the wheel of life The beginning the omega Of womanhood
There are other wonderful elixirs Which also lead us to those strange tingly feelings Unharnessed emotions
A kiss in the darkness Of whispering sighs Contentment leaning your head up against a hearbeat
Perhaps this too is a time of our rebirth To witness evolution The circle complete
I wonder if a man feels this much power inside And deep emotion Seeing his son entering life?

I tried so very hard to wash it away On with the Blue fading into the Grey Drippings of Pink followed droppings of Red Fading to velvety Purple , instead Minute touches of Yellow lingered Touching the core of my bright Orange fingers Exploding into the White that now humms... Valuable lessons within all this color The color thats missing, is only a lover!
Best of all to You my friend! You make me dream in Colour...blessings I send!

The birds turn and sweep cortholt and drum swell the figure tightens and turns
Dancers leave, return smile and nod
At dusk, the games begin offered a red sleeve she wanders toward the shingle
And the music in the woods rattles on, and laughter bright as silver, as crystal
A heart given, a heart received twice over in the slow sweet dance of soon

| Fingerpainting Posted: 3/31/2008 9:13:22 PM | Fly safe with happy wings
I paint my sadness in grey The empty threads of once Dancing poets Inspired by each other’s brush upon our imagination You brought soaring birds into our life The gentle nurturer of compassion You painted our yearning in words Bright crisp colour of ferry rides To the island shores of our youth Growing up in a city that seems so far away I wish we could some how fly you here in the summer For a picnic on the lawn and poetry amongst the trees You won’t be forgotten your words hold treasures As one by one the veils were lifted off And golden hair gleamed in the sunlight And a nightingale sang As she paints her passions In the presence of love.

| Fingerpainting Posted: 3/31/2008 10:20:30 PM | In the presence of life How soft the brush touches canvas Painted vivid perhaps raptured as a ravens thirst Sunlight spond mornings glow
Once upon a past distant torn into shores Caverns born of oceans Waves undressed in sands as thou
Hearts mean't to soar In Passion,In Lust,In Love Fingerpainting Life more than just something to remember
Once upon past distant torn into shores Caverns born of oceans Waves undressed Wrapped in arms Naked in the sands
How soft the brush carresses the canvas Creating Poetic scenery

Hills of trees greener and blue in places You could disappear For more than a day Something like a postcard of where I wanna be! Wild things growing all around me Keepers of this woods with eyes watching me Stars that shine the brightest I have seen Smells that so enticingly warm my senses I shall be there in this place once again this summer! Isn't it the epitomy of shame knowing the place you loved the most brings such pain.

Jack Johnson In Between Dreams Good People
You win Its your show, now so whats it gunna be cause people will tune in how many train wrecks do we need to see? before we lose touch of we thought this was low It's bad gettin worse so
Chorus: Whered all the good people go Ive been changin channels I dont see them on the tv shows Whered all the good people go We got heaps and heaps of what we sow
They got this and that and with a rattle a tat testing one two, now whatcha gunna do? bad news, misused, got too much to lose gimme some truth now whos side are we on? Whatever you say Turn on the boob tube Im in the mood to obey so lead me astray by the way, now
Where'd all the good people go? I've been changin channels I dont see them on the tv shows Whered all the good people go We got heaps and heaps of what we sow
Sitting round feeling far away so far away but I can feel the debris can you feel it? yo interrupt me from a friendly conversation to tell me how great its all gunna be you might notice some hesitation cause whats important to you is not important to me Way down by the edge of your reasons its beginning to show and all I wanna know is..
Whered all the good people go Ive been changin channels I dont see them on the tv shows Whered all the good people go We got heaps and heaps of what we sow
They got this and that With a rattle a tat Testing one, two Now what you gonna do? Bad news, misused, gimme some truth You got too much to lose Whose side are we on? Whatever you say Run the resolut but in the mood to obey Station to station desensitizing the nation

It doesn't matter what I say So long as I sing with inflection That makes you feel that I'll convey Some inner truth of vast reflection But I've said nothing so far And I can keep it up for as long as it takes And it don't matter who you are If I'm doing my job then it's your resolve that breaks
Because the hook brings you back I ain't tellin' you no lie The hook brings you back On that you can rely
There is something amiss I am being insincere In fact I don't mean any of this Still my confession draws you near To confuse the issue I refer To familiar heroes from long ago No matter how much Peter loved her What made the Pan refuse to grow
Was that the hook brings you back I ain't tellin' you no lie The hook brings you back On that you can rely
Suck it in suck it in suck it in If you're Rin Tin Tin or Anne Boleyn Make a desperate move or else you'll win And then begin To see What you're doing to me this MTV is not for free It's so PC it's killing me So desperately I sing to thee Of love Sure but also rage and hate and pain and fear of self And I can't keep these feelings on the shelf I've tried well no in fact I lied Could be financial suicide but I've got too much pride inside To hide or slide I'll do as I'll decide and let it ride until I've died And only then shall I abide this tide Of catchy little tunes Of hip three minute ditties I wanna bust all your balloons I wanna burn all of your cities To the ground I've found I will not mess around Unless I play then hey I will go on all day hear what I say I have a prayer to pray That's really all this was And when I'm feeling stuck and need a buck I don't rely on luck because...
The hook brings you back I ain't tellin' you no lie The hook... On that you can rely

The fire that dances The bird that sings The wind that dies The icy waves And the surges of rumor In the ear the distant cries of the day that passes all the weary flames the voice of the voyager All the powder in the sky the heel on the earth The eye fixed on the road Where steps are inscribed Which the number unrolls To the names that have left In the folds of the clouds the unknown face The one which you watch And which has not come
