| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 10:27:00 AM | for me, it was the
tapping down the center line, cane in one hand and a basket of uncommon sense in the other
yes, very very very UN-common are you!!!!! but you? blind? doubtful. you see far more without your eyes, who said it? St. Exupery? " it is only with the heart that one sees clearly....what is essential is invisible to the eye"

| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 10:48:49 AM | I think you Drea and I are ready to audition for the sequel to Witches of South-East-Westwick

| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 1:30:59 PM | Perplexed
Sitting here looking out at a sun-shower I wonder if it’s my primitive hunger for a happy ending that causes me to deny the remote possibility, in it’s radiant glare, once in a while, the sun cries too
Are they drops of joy for the newly risen or missiles of sorrow for the graves of misfortune Was it puerile to believe the sun only shines

| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 2:08:04 PM | wellllll, I almost got into the movie, but my scene was cut!!!!! I became an extra up in Cohasset just so I could say for the rest of my life that I elicited a devilish eye-brow raised in mischief from Jack...and I did, and let me tell you, that man didn't act at all for that movie...he was just himself!!!!! But I am in the railroad scene in Ragtime.... I couldn't get anywhere near Jimmy Cagney, which was my mission. Hey, I'm up for the big move west!!!! ...... I'll buy us a nice huge Victorian on the sound and it will be at least Practical Magic all over again!!!!! I call Aunt Frances! (Stockard Channing) you two duke it out over the beautiful Kidman or Bullock roles.... I bake great bread...ever have Anadama??????? And I have super herbal knowledge in this deteriorating brain.... I just can't see myself as Cher or Michelle or Susan Sarandon for that matter..... oh to have her Bette Davis eyes!!!!!!! | |
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 2:09:56 PM | | I always like to think the last raindrops are the angels weeping.... a sort of blessing. | |
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 2:16:04 PM | I already have the big house, in the woods, and the cauldron is always on. There are familiars everywhere...even a feral black cat prowling around. It's not Victorian but it's not too far from there. Drea is the good one so she gets Sandra's part. I've got a bit of a checkered past so...guess I get Nicole. LOL... Cool that you were an extra in those films...very cool.
edit...on second thought...maybe we should be thinking Macbeth LMAO
|

A good girlfriend bought it for me!!!!!!............. guess she has known me for way too..........long!!!!!!!! A friend asked me once...."Are you a Witch?" As he strolled through my house...seeing little things...for kicks! But I told him no.......absolutely not! Dang it...........he left before I got him into the Pot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 8:44:02 PM | A Celtic Cross for Sucram
North Look up. Inhale the cool healing air above your head It has the power to purify
South With your feet absorb energy from the grounding earth It brings stability
East Seize the fire in your right hand It gives you the power to fight and Overcome all obstacles
West Feel the quietness of water flowing through the left side of your body Bringing peace of mind
I speak your name in soft circles to the night sky and place blue flowers at your feet. Blowing candle brume in waves to the watchtower I bid you, come rest in the quiet flow.
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 9:08:07 PM | jeesh, you crazy wild women!!!!!! you are breaking my heart.....how much I have always longed to live within a circle, community of like minded souls.....
and here we are, spread out like galaxies orbiting the muse, no chance to sit on pillows, with the wine all gone, the candles burning down to wicks floating in wax puddles, our toes wiggling and tickling each others. The trajectory of our laughter bouncing off the ceiling, the walls, our contentment so immense, it entirely fills the room and we almost can't find breath! Who got up first to dance? I forget, but it might have been me - first just swaying, the incense melting my mind so I feel nothing but the music, inner voices and ours, a sounding chime, a heralding bell, a pulse of desire and wanton need. We dance out the door into the night, dancing with the stars howling with the wind faces tilted up, arms reaching for the moon, imploring her to finish the ritual, the transubstantiation.... but she only kisses us goodnight escapes behind the nearest cloud, so jealous of our luminous souls! "Green Cheese envy!" we hoot but it really matters not.... we see the miracle in each others eyes.
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 9:19:23 PM | | yoko, that sounded exactly like a prayer....... the sidhe sigh..... the puca fall silent, far darrig decides to behave himself...... you have lulled me to a sweet somnolent mooring beside your ship of poesy. | |
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 9:27:18 PM | yoko that sounded very native american *smile...fitting for a crow *smile.

|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/19/2007 10:19:24 PM | Princess...I loved your poem. Felt every flashback image. Wish there was a moon out to dance to tonight! You really are more exceptional than you give yourself credit for. Poetic Princess is the perfect name. A community of like minded people...now that would be Nirvana. Thank you.
Drea...as the crow flies, so do our prayers. Love you.
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/20/2007 11:27:48 PM | fill the circle empty the soul this is the psalm all is well between dawn and dawn and breath and breath under mystery the moment all is well, inside the needle outside the thread this is the season all is well alone is not lonely a house is not home this is the oasis all is well, all is well | |

| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/21/2007 6:49:40 AM | Hand Picked
There is a church I pass on the way to town. Hoping to get a red stop light, I slow down annoying the drivers behind me but, I am taken by the sheer esotericism of the cut glass pyramid anchored atop the pitched roof. Not a wooden cross with bloodstained skewers But a crystal volcano that I swear hurls the innocent, the forgiven and the virtuous directly to the heavens
I picture you in that temple Sensibly praying for the crusades to begin Waiting, always waiting for a miracle Just one sign that today is the day you will take your rightful place among the chosen
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/21/2007 6:55:27 AM | yoko that opened the flood gate | |
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/21/2007 10:35:50 AM | | ditto double here..... the memory of breath or touch so vague, hands do not seek the invisible, they do not pick the possible.... they go for the sure thing, the ones who already won the race...like attracts like.... when mangled by machines of ulterior motives, their conveyer belts keep you from temples.... and the grace of godesses | |
|
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/21/2007 2:36:01 PM | lovely writes....here....from all of you lovely ladies! enjoyed each one!
~~~~~~~~~~~Words~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Capture each one!
| Fingerpainting Posted: 7/22/2007 8:16:51 AM | Good Morning Yoko.....
K, can't resist, must be the rain.....
She took off my Rose colored glasses threw them to the ground and stepped on them told me.. "Take off that damn shirt!" too love it when they get all... opinionated on my ass I stood there wondering... if she would fingerpaint on my naked chest what colors she thought I would look best in... hoped it was not yellow cause I really don't like yellow she just shook her head.... rolled her eyes... I think she knew, what I was thinking behind my crooked grin but hey... I like to fingerpaint too.........
