Since we are from all over, with many different internet providers. It must be a click on fish...

Posted: 7/14/2007 6:29:35 AM | Well I continue to have the same problem-which started on Friday the 13th.! I can't send any mail. I have read the thread and found out a lot about Fish-BUT still can't e-mail. I have concluded that there is a server problem.
The problem started suddenly-at the same time-and continues as of this moment. How can thousands of people do the same wrong thing at the right time?
An observation. We now know what a great system Fish is. It works just fine 99% of the time. So an occasional glitch like this is a small price to pay for the general excellence of the program. Still-it would be nice to e-mail all my wonderful friends on Fish-especially on a weekend.

It keeps throwing me back to my registration page. I deleted my cookies, set my setting to 75 and still nothing. Always back to the registration page. Would you have any time to help me?

P.S. I'm a total dunce when it comes to computers... it took me about 10 minutes just to find my cookies.... was wandering all over my kitchen, thinking the jar must be SOMEWHERE. (bad, I know.... lol) | |

Posted: 7/14/2007 11:55:10 AM | Well we seem to be back up and running here in central MI,I can access/read my email but haven't yet attempted to send or reply to received.And at least am able to access the site in a normal and timely manner.
Just as a point of information, I use a small, independent dialup ISP,not one of the "biggies" like AOL. I didn't experience any problems yesterday in accessing or using any OTHER websites, like my Yahoo email, or Google. I had already cleared my browser cache which by the way is an older IE running on Windows ME. (It's pretty pointless to upgrade to the lastest and fastest when the options here for internet access are so limited, outdated and overloaded. It would be like trying to run a Formula I race car in a rollerskating rink LOL)
Anyway I just thought I'd let y'all know the status here. And again I have to give positive comment about how very few technical problems seem to occur at this site, which is amazing considering the number of users and the fact that it's free.

Posted: 7/14/2007 12:24:28 PM | I read the Paradigm Shift blog occasionally and as I suspected, recent upgrades (¿) seem to be the culprit. Markus says he only uses 1 mail server and growing pains are to be expected.
It's a site specific problem and hopefully Admin rectified it. | |

Looks like plenty of us were right, thinking that the problem was server-side related rather than client related.
