MONEY will NOT buy you a classification in life. It brings you material things, but never once has it turned a sick human being into a person of high moral standing.
This idiot and ALL THOSE THAT HAVE AND ARE participating in this cruel and sickening spectacle are low forms of life. No matter of money will turn them into people any of us would want to associate with.
He's an animal and needs to be treated the same way he treated his animals.
Only then will justice be served.
AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE OTHERS THAT ARE INVOLVED WITH THIS STILL!!!
Just because Vick is a famous sports figure he's being singled out here and in the media.... He wasn't alone with his dogs people.... There's a HUGE audience out there, doing the same thing and worse and THAT'S what has to be brought out to the masses.

I wasnt happy that Ricky Williams or Onterrio Smith were allowed to come here and play while being suspended in the NFL. I guess Vick could do the same, but all fans here know whats going on and it likely wont happen. I believe the CFL is looking at closing this loophole that allows suspended players to come here.
I heard a news cast yesterday and they were suggesting that other people who attended these fights might be worried that Vick will try and make a deal by giving names of other people who go to these fights. | |

yeah, that leg stomp thing he did was just about the least classiest, dirtiest and most disrespectful thing towards another competitor i've ever seen in any sport, and that includes marty mcsorely and todd bertuzzi in the NHL, alexander perezhoggin in the AHL and zidane in the world cup. | |

The CFL changed that rule over the winter. Suspended NFL players are not allowed to play in the CFL. | |

As far as being treated differently...I agree that they should not be treated special...but you have to look at this from another angle. If you put Paris in the general population...the nuts in there would get their 15 minutes of fame by taking her out! They know that they would be famous for doing so. That type does not care if they get into more trouble. The fame would be worth it to them because they are used to crime and punishment. People commit supposed suicide in jails every day. Most are not suicides. They find them hung in their cells and call it suicide. Paris would be a target in the wrong prison.

Posted: 7/21/2007 10:05:42 PM | I am all for giving Vick due process. Just because you are charged doesn't mean you are guilty. But I will say the reported evidence so far looks very good. If he is going to do a plea deal though he needs to do it quick before those other two beat him to it. Once one cuts a plea deal, the odds of you getting a good deal drop A LOT!
Vick has never been a role model, but he has avoid any off field charges. The few instances he has been involved with have all been hearsay or private matters that have since been sealed, so who knows all the details.
One of the guys who was indicted with him through stole the watch of a guard working for the Transportation Security Agency a few years back after the guy placed it down. He was actually traveling with Vick and his 'crew' when the incident happened. If that doesn't show the mindset of these clowns, nothing does. You are traveling with a hundred million dollar man and you steal a cheap watch from the security guard? WTF!?
But still, give him due process and let him have his trial. | |
