| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 3:45:59 AM | I started to lose my hair in my early 20s I soon had all the jokes heard them all before. I never worried then and now I shave the remaing hair regularly with a pair of clippers down to the wood as it were. Once a week I use a fusion for that baby smooth look and feel
Two good things about going bald early in life one is you have plenty of time to get used to it. The second and best is revenge is so sweet, recycle those old jokes back to your mates when they start losing their hair later on
Just as a side note for those who shave, wet or dry? What is your razor of choice? I used to use a mach 3 but now prefer the 4 blade fusion.

| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 8:22:58 AM | I must admit i am not really into the bald or shaved look on a guy... probably because i lived in an Army town for 7 years and thats all u ever saw.
A friend of mine is worried he is losing his hair at the tender age of 27. I just told him not to worry and if anyone remarked about it, he will just tell them it isnt a bald patch..........
Its a solar panel for a sex machine

| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 9:09:17 AM | I started losing my hair at 18, bothered me slightly to begin with, but I save a fortune on hair care and all these silly gel things. Not only that I don't get the wind blowing my hair into my eyes.
To answer your question anarkaos I use a Wilkinson Sword Extra 2 sensitive, they're dirt cheap and do a fantastic job. They're only twin blades, and I don't use gel, oil or foam. Just good old hot water.
The added bonus is you look younger for longer most of the time, no bad hair days or blow away looks either.

| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 10:39:58 AM | | But you are not bald yet are you? the mind boggles to what you would be getting the clippers out for lol | |

| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 11:17:35 AM | Im sorry, this is where i show my shallowness.
Im not sure i could touch a bald mans head, the thought just makes me go all goosbumpy.
I like men with hair. I like to stroke it, pull it, twirl it round my fingers as i fall asleep.
I love hair on men, long hair, dreadlocks, afro, spiky hair just love hair.
I mean Patrick Stewart is hot like but if i ever got lucky with him i don t think i could touch his head, ewwww!
Sorry bald guys, you do look hot but i cant touch it im afraid. Am i shallow?
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 12:08:38 PM | Noooooooooo it's a prefference....doesn't make you shallow tut
You could try a polish with Mr sheen? sorry guys i have nothing against bald men!
The builder who is currently working on my house has what they called.. tis not a wig but he has some sort of hair attachments.. lol one of the blokes warned me.
I thought oh god i can't look at him now! Tis true he has aswell they stick out like a sore thumb!
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 12:33:18 PM | | I dont mind bald blokes, i prefer the more hirsute type, but can stomach it if he is a babe in other ways, what i hate is the big combover, eeeeeew thats ridiculous, if a man is losing his crowning glory, get it shaved into the wood, it looks so much better. | |
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/21/2007 1:02:58 PM | mmmmm!!!! Bald can be sexy..
Hate the swept over look.....the receding hairline and the polo mint hair style.....shave it off, number one all over....Lovely!!!!!:

| Going Bald? Posted: 9/22/2007 8:32:43 AM | | I used to do hair replacement treatments cos my hairline started going at 18, but now I just shave it all off cos it doesn't bother me any more lol | |
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/22/2007 1:01:58 PM | Do I worry about hair loss?------No have got much better things to worry about.
Do I take any measure to deal with hair loss?------Yes it's called a razor blade. I just shave it all off.
What are your views on people who carry their family genes regarding hair loss?.....They shouldn't worry about it. It's not exactly life threatening on the general scheme of things there are a lot worst things that can be carried in your genes.
On a personal note If my hair grew back tomorrow I would shave it off. I actually really like my head shaved.
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/23/2007 1:06:20 AM | too late for me, went out on a windy day and lost my hair. I often get the razor to my head and shave off the growth without a mirror too I tell you, rather keep tidy than have that Bobby Charlton type strand flowing everywhere lol. Anyway the bald head as you may not be aware is a solar panel for a love machine, wheres the damn sunshine gone ?? | |
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/23/2007 5:03:51 AM | there are more important things to worry about.
anyway, shiny pates are sometimes 'lovely', i mean, i remember Demi Moore acting like a navy seal........................
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/23/2007 6:54:54 AM | Bald men can be very sexy - and so can men with long hair! I dont think there is a right or wrong age for either!
I think men worry far more about their baldness than women, same as women worry far more about their cellulite than men!
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 9/23/2007 10:15:53 AM | As soon as I started going noticably bald at around age 30, I started clipping it short without using a guide (- number 1). No-one notices that I have gone bald, they think that I just keep it that way because I like it.
When it starts to grow back, I do start to look more my age, keeping it virtually shaved knocks a good 10 years off.
I'm been told by the ladies that its pretty sexy too. Who am I to argue?

| Going Bald? Posted: 4/20/2008 12:36:32 AM | Thanks very sensible & reasuring, we men tend to worry perhaps too much about it. | |
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 4/20/2008 12:42:19 AM | I had hair once,, But started to lose it at 25,, It has never bothered me because to be honest there is little you can do about it,,
Its a low maintenence haircut for me everytime..., Wash and polish every day..
|
| Going Bald? Posted: 4/20/2008 12:43:13 AM | Bald/shaved.....verrrrrrrry sexy in my opinion I love the 'fuzzy-felt' feel of a close shaved head

And NO I am NOT touchy about it , so why are you making a thread up just to have a go at me ????????????????
