The problem is that a lot of men are taught that their own bodies and anything that comes out of them is "disgusting".
We're taught from a very young age that flatulence, belching/burping, anything that comes out of our bodies is gross.
Most men try and teach their male children that there is nothing wrong with this, and some women teach them that it's gross, disturbing, wrong.
Add to that the stereotype that "Any guy who eats cum is gay." and the rampant homophobia that goes around, and anyone who remotely even looks/thinks of another male is "wrong".
Basically it's a lack of knowledge on the parts of parents, and then on into the group setting. Guys are taught "Never look at another mans junk.".
Basically, men are taught that they should never question their own sexuality, and so the idea of tasting your own ejaculate is like one of the biggest things people disagree with, no matter the fact that it's your own body, and not some other males.
I was raised with a lot different values than most people.
I once questioned my own sexuality when I was younger, and my mom never once attacked me for my thoughts and questions. Now, I had no father nor male role model, and I'm sure if I'd had a father, that he would've basically treated me like shit if I'd mentioned those thoughts to him. (I know this, because I had a friend who started to question his sexuality before me, and his father basically acted like if he was gay that he was going to disown him.....so my friend finally just came out, and moved out of his parents for awhile.....he later reconciled with them.) I later realized I didn't really find males attractive, in fact, I find them quite gross.
Maybe this is why a lot of guys find it gross, because they remember their own past, and their own periods when they weren't entirely sure.
It's basically a societally implied homophobia.
I'm so glad I had a parent who was open about sexuality in general, and any questions I asked, she had no problem answering, even if they were embarrassing as hell for her. I was also given a book early on, when I was just starting to question all of this. That book helped me immensely to understand myself, and others.
