This is some funny stuff right here now, rotflmao....
I really enjoyed this one...

If memory serves, there was a minor scandal in the late 80's when it was realized that we lost the designs, and could no longer build a Saturn V if we wanted to.

Oh god, my side hurts....
Thats like saying they can't make ice cubes in Poland because they lost the recipe.
The only thing I want to know is if all you non-believes have your head under the same rock.
Oh god, LOL
Yea, we got 2 million people to lie, spent half a trillion dollars, all just so you all could sit up past your bedtime and watch a bad black and white image of Neal Armstrong desend a ladder and say his famous line. And yea, lol, the Russians are under our control along with everyone else, thats why no one has said anything. Shhhh, let the poor Americans have that one little lie, its okay.

Oh and by the way, we have pocket calculators because of the technology that went into Apollo, not the other way around...

You guys are a riot....

Why don't you all go down to Cape Kennedy, the Saturn five for Apollo 18 and 19 are still down there and on display. Oh, and the operating manuals for the lander and the command module are available on line for all to read....

Yeah the moon landing happened. First of all, it's really not all that impressive. These dudes went to the moon planted a flag and came back. Simple. Yes, I said it...simple. We haven't been back because there hasn;t been much motivation. The space race was all about getting to the moon. There was no plan to have a permanent base there in the 60's and there isn't a natural resource there that would justify the cost of repeated trips. Why return so soon?

Yes, I do...Why you might be wondering? Because we have pictures of the Earth. How does anyone know what the Earth looks like?

Publicity is why we never went back. The public didn't enjoy it after seeing how barren the surface was, regardless of the implications of traveling to another celestial body. If they could have held the public interest, we'd probably already have Moonbase Luna established.

I am so tired of conspiracy theorires and all other nonesensical claims that have no scientific merit whatsoever. I caanot believe that this ridiculous claim about the lunar landings being faked is still floating around. Can anyone who honestly believes this prove that it was faked? I think everyone who had viewed the rockets launch might have something to say about that.

There is no other way to put an end to such claims than to refute them with logic. Another wild claim that I hear is based on the conspiracy theory that the collapse of the twin towers on 9/11 were caused from the explosion of bombs being detonated and not from the impact from the airplanes. And how do they support such ridiculous claims? "That steel does not melt." Well, anyone could dispute that! If steel does not melt, then how do we make cars? Trucks? Ships? Bridges? Buildings?

Or what about the claim that the earth is flat? Are there really any flat-earthers around today?

Well, if you don't believe, its probably because all your rockets aren't firing.

Yes. So sad. http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/

I myself, neither a sociologist nor a psychologist, believe that these people don't trust authority so they generalize their suspicion to everything they are told. I think they have good reason to question authority but you have to draw the line somewhere. You can't seriously doubt stuff for which solid evidence is so available.

Don't be silly! They took the pictures from the aliens at Area 51.

I guess when Columbus came back from his voyage there were some people who didn't believe he really did it.
They must have insisted that he just faked everything and made it all up.
How could he prove the New World was really there ?

One day, we will go back.
They will accept it when the Chinese walk there.

Common, everyone knows that the moon is made of cheese and that we went there to mine some of it!

The less known fact is that when one of your socks vanishes or when you can not find something you are looking for, it is because these items ended up on the surface of the moon due to a special bidirectional gravity field no one has discovered yet. That is what all these shapes you see are, other then the wholes that naturally appear in space cheese.

Hope that clears things up once and for all....

He was abducted shortly after making that post .. be very very careful

At least NASA is smart enough to plan that landing at night so it is not so hot.

I have some questions.

1) What kind of fuel was used for the craft to get to the moon.

2) How many miles was it. there and back.

3) What kind of mileage did that thing need to get for the round trip.

4) What was that craft's fuel capacity.

1. Rocket fuel.

2. Lots of miles.

3. About ½ mile per gallon, though they coast most of the way.

4. http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/space/apollo11/factoids.html

OMG you do know that they didn't drive there right? You can throw a rock in space and it will literally go FOREVER until it hits something.

How do you know?
Been in space, have you?

So they just 'threw' themselves in the direction of the moon.. never slowing, the course was clear, no debris of any type to slow down for, dodge or go around.. forget the fuel it took to get to where "go FOREVER until it hits something." And the fuel to control the craft coming back.
5.6 million pounds of propellant (or 960,000 gallons) in 2,925 Ton vehicle

Nice answer boys, I'm convinced.
and thanks for the link.

There is no doubt we landed on the moon. We left footprints.

At present "We" are looking for Volunteers to assist in the repopulation of the sun. Please provide your own SPF.

I recently watched a documentary on this on the Discovery channel...at 1st I thought some of the stuff ppl were saying against it made sense...like how did they film, why was the flag blowing....why are there no stars in the pics....was the film in slow-mo, so it would look like no gravity....why was there not more dirt blown away during landing...
but after they gave the explanations...they debunked all of it....you should try to catch it...it was interesting..

I will say this, we know for fact that ego's have been there and back, many times, it is always arguing about it, like the chicken and the egg, which has three answers, 2 wrong and one right. But listen to what the transmission stated, didn't you hear Armstrong say the immortal words, "Houston, The EGOS have Landed".......
