On the question of why women show their breasts on their profile....... call them EGO and SUPER- EGO. ( their breasts ) . and........why do women think that by showing a bit of cleavage all guys are gonna just drop what they are doing and fall for them...( the person not her boobs ).

well as been stated quite a few times on here........its obvious why,
the same reasons why guys blatantly pose shirtless
the same reasons why guys pose blatantly with their cars
both men and women know exactly why women pose with their boobs sticking out or thrusting out.
the viewer can tell very easily if the picture is meant to just titilate or not.
not all women posing that include their boobs in shot are showing them off, unless its just an head shot , boobs have to be in the picture.
whether the viewer thinks the breast shot is tacky or not, wrong or right , its the initial intention of the breast picture that is the question and what the aim of the breast picture is for, in the most it is to purely to entice guys because the vast majority of women think that the breasts are simply what men are attracted to.....WRONG. | |

I agree poster. I have been mis-led all this time. Women do it to show how they are one with nature. Their spiritual (nurturing) side if you will. You know. Kinda like twin peaks of natures finest. Inspiring in a milk and cookies kind of way.
You know. Earth mothers type of thing. I think this way of thinking is quite selfless of these earth mother types. This was pointed out to me in a previous post. I for one am glad I was set straight on this issue.
Well. It really never was an issue for me. Not like it is for you that is.
Possibly there is the odd lady that THRUSTS herself out in such a fashion to just get fellows like yourself in a dither of sorts. On a tangent if you will. Frothing at the beak. (so to speak)
You asked me in an earlier post if I was a feminine? Well I guess I must be since I feel a connection to these women of nature. Ohhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm. :)

we hear all the time that women look for guys with big muscles, strong arms, tall men, dark skinned men, big hands !!!!, shirtless men...etc.
how often do we read on here that men are looking for women with big muscles, strong arms, tall women, dark skinned women, women with big hands....etc.......not very often if at all.
most men are very very very easliy enticed by women and most women naturaly know how to get " their man", a very easy way is to show off their body, their curves, pose in bikinis and of course breasts.....showing her breasts will have the majority of guys running to them........it has always been like that and always will. | |

Well here is the breakthrough for you...I am not insecure, I am also not a slut, I do not think men are stupid, I enjoy wearing tops that show a little cleavage and if I get paid a compliment then I say thankyou.....Please stop acting so moral and God fearing....half of you probably have nipple rings under your shirts..or have some dirty little secret..so please relax and enjoy life..naked or not... | |

a woman topless would be a different thing...i could understand the attraction to that, i mean its 2007 now, whats the big deal with female breasts, they are just a bit more of skin. Maybe some time in the future there wont be such a fuss over female breasts.
perhaps POF should allow the women who want to pose topless to do so.
women all the time are saying their breasts are no big deal.....thats right they are not.
no one is saying for either sex to be allowed to pose totally nude but being topless really should be no big deal.
from looking at some profiles tho it is quite obviouse what the intentions are when looking at some cleavage pictures, pure and simply to titilate. | |

What is this the year 1917 when women were expected to wear skirts down to their ankles and blouses buttoned up to their chins? Wow..people...get a grip! There is absolutly nothing wrong with showing some cleavage as long as its tasteful. For me its all a part of feeling sexy and feminine and no I don't feel sexy and feminine wearing a turtleneck! Frankly if a guy is so uptight about a woman showing some cleavage, I won't date him, lifes too short to sweat the small stuff! Now I don't believe in showing your whole breasts, thats a bit much. But then I don't get offended if a guy comments on my assets like some women do, a compliments a compliment and there is very little that upsets me or offends me.
Here is some advice for all you that are offended by skin....DON'T LOOK...its that simple. Then i wondewr how many of you whiners watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last night,lol. | |

I am not looking for a woman though. I don't mind your looking. I do prefer men to look at my profile and again, I don't believe my breasts are exposed...stomach yes. | |
