However, a lot of women post-30 have children, multiple failed divorces, emotional issues and STD's. You can't expect a man to take that on. | |

In western Europe, no one even thinks about having children until they're in their 30's.
(Which is why their populations have been in a free fall since WW II.)
In eastern Europe and, I suppose, much of Asia, if you're single and childless at 25, you might as well take up crochet, bake some cookies and call yourself a spinster old maid.
In North America, legend has it that women enter their 'prime' in their 40's, but research (?) shows that complication-free childbirth can be a little bit of a problem after 35.
Perhaps that's why here in New Mexico, most local girls get pregnant by a current or future jailbird when they're 14-16........ | |

this is just so true all over Asia, when a girl reaches 24 and she's not married they start to feel panicky!!
There's not much can be said it seems to be deeply ingrained in Asian culture, but it is very strange from my western perspective, I wouldn't want to be with someone under 30!!
let's all move to asia....

here in china ,if a gril is over 30,it is so difficult to meet a boyfriend,as many men think a gril is a old gril,many men perfer young gril.
It was much like that here in Australia & other western countries previously lulucheng, however, things have changed over the years - present. Most people are now marrying & have children later.
some men is 40-50,they desire to meet women is below 30!
I think that ^ applies universally.
other side if is a woman divorced,it is difficult to meet boyfriend and husband

but in china,30 is good age for housewife,mother ,not be a single
30 is for chinese single woman has some difficulty,my friends and colleagues are most married,nowadays in shanghai 30 single woman more than before,but compare to married single over 30 is very less,in other little city of china,woman usually married 25 years,
if a girl over 30 not married people around her would wonder why she not marry ?she is old gril,etc...,dont like west society,choose single is private.

Yes, there are many differences in our various cultures.
There's many men & women of various ages here, however, someone that is 31 certainly isn't considered old here. Even though I'm 47, I'm not an old girl either  I'm a mature woman.
The things that people - all cultures soon learn is that many people here have previously been in a relationship/married, & everyone on internet dating sites isn't honest or decent, thereby, selecting a friend - potential partner is normally done so carefully.

OT......Age is but a number needed to get you started at birth..... What you do with that start, and how you take care of yourself will make all the difference, and not your birth certificate......

Posted: 8/11/2007 12:37:27 PM | Years ago here in the west thirty may have been the "hill" year for women but it definitely is not now. In fact, I don't think there is here. What is it about Chinese society that would make you feel that old at 30, especially since you are single? Here in the US, it may actually be looked up on nowadays to be 30 and never married because a lot of who are 30 or over, men or women, have had bad relationships. In the USA and Canada the average woman is 26 or so when she marries but it's just a number. Hopefully things will change there in China.
p.s. The OP is a beautiful woman..I couldn't see any western man rejecting her for being 31 and single! | |

Woman are not being brought up with the 1940's attititude of how a relationship should be... With the onslot of new emotions that woman are taking on they are now forging a new attitude for future females. You can see it on this site.. you can see it on society! You should take a self evaluation of your life and see were you want to be and how to get there. If your 30 and happy..GREAT.. but if you fell like your missing something liek a mate....you should change your habbits in a way that will give you your desired need. From your PIC you look good and your profile sounds great. It also sounds like you should take a hike out to the country and look for all those men that might need a good mate like yourself! Endulge! Posted: 8/13/2007 12:47:43 AM | I am working right now in Korea. Women who are not married in Korea by age 32 are like failures in the eyes of some Koreans. Also, the men by 36 get serious questions from family if they didn't get married by then. Also, the women have huge, huge pressure to be very thin in this country. Many women who are average in the West are considered fat here, and they will tell them that they are fat and should go on a diet. East Asia is much rougher on women than North America. I will say that is definitely true. North American women should consider themselves lucky because the men as bad as they can be in North America are sometimes some of the best men in the world... East Asia has attitudes that used to be in the West maybe 30 years ago or even 40-50 years ago.

Posted: 8/14/2007 10:12:12 AM | move to Canada then, men love women in there 30's here, it's actually seen as a turn on to be older if you still have it going on. We can't do anything about how old we are, so we have to learn to be OK with it, be the best you can be, that's all you can do.
I'm the youngest 37 year old you'll ever meet and I know I'm not old, nor will I be in 5 years or 25. I'm gonna age like Cher!

Then again every guy I know would be in heaven knowing someone like lulu would be available and looking. | |
