Not every woman is a "delicate flower", women are just as capable of inflicting harm on others as anybody. You don't have children so you can't understand what it feels like to protect.
I beg your pardon? I don't have children either, that does not mean that I don't know how to protect. How rude of you to assume that because of the fact that I don't have children, I am not a protective person.
The fact that I, or other women or men on this site may not have children has nothing to do with the original topic, which is "Is it okay for a woman to hit a man?"
No. It is never ok to hit a man or woman. A "pat" on the bottom is ok, but I still think this shows a complete lack of respect. Why can't people just hold hands to show affection?
However, sometimes verbal abuse, as what is described above, is often more serious than physical abuse.

She wants to beat the s h i t out of ANYONE, man or woman, a man should have the right to self defense. I'm not saying kill her or anything, use enough force to get her to stop then get rid of her. Its the same as when a woman should be allowed to hit a man who is seriously abusing her. I'm not saying abuse in any way is cool, but it does happen everyday and sometimes the woman is the abuser. She should not have any excuse, the same as a man shouldn't, simple. Yet, I have to admit, I've gone after a b/f of mine cuz I caught him on top of my ex-best friend, screwing her senseless in the bed I shared with him. He didn't press charges (probably so his family wouldn't find out) but he had a reminder of how much I hated him every time he looked at the cast on his arm. I'm honestly surprised eh DIDN'T come after me, I actually expected him too. If it wasn't for the girl it could have been worse (I won't hit a girl). And what was with the neglect excuse? "He didn't f u c k me as good as I'd like/He didn't get me a new car/His presents weren't thoughtful enough, so I beat the living sh it out of him. Sorry" | |

Posted: 8/1/2008 3:11:28 PM | A woman (who had long finger nails) moved in with me, many years ago . . .
Our relationship fell apart, so I had asked her to move out (I was sleeping in another b'room) . . .
One night I went out with my brother & we got pretty liquored . . .
So I very quietly snuck into my bedroom & fell asleep (passed out) . . .
I awoke with her on top of me, trying to rip my face off & gouge out my eyes . . .
I pushed her off of me & the bed, when I got out of the bed, I was trapped in the corner of the room . . .
I told her "You don't want to get physical with me, I'm alot bigger than you" . . .
Remember I'm pretty drunk & I'm leaning into the corner of the room for balance . . .
All of a sudden she charges me with these big long nails ripping at my face again . . .
I pushed her back, fearing for my well-being I decided to punch her in the shoulder . . .
Mostly to show her the force I was capable of . . .
She got an arm up in the nick of time, so my shoulder punch was redirected right onto her jaw - POW ! ! !
I felt like a total piece of crap, but she stopped . . .
I told her I was leaving (MY HOUSE !!!) & to get her stuff & get out . . .
I asked her to phone my Mother's house, when she moved out, so I could return . . .
No phone call ! ! ! - I needed work clothes & boots for work on monday . . .
So I got my other brother to return to the house with me . . .
Almost a year passed - And I get served a summons to appear in court for assault . . .
Of course my face was all healed & like a fool - I had not taken any pics of my injuries . . .
Almost another year of being sh!t scared passed - I could go to prison ! ! !
This was the era when the Canadian government come out with "zero tolerance for spousal abuse". . .
Finally my court date came - As I was seating in the waiting room waiting to appear . . .
The crown prosecutor comes up & tells me that the charges have been dropped . . .
All that time scared sh!tless & over $1000.00 in lawyer's fee's (this was 25 yrs. ago) ! ! !
Was I ever glad it was over - but to this day I don't know what I could have done differently . . .
Besides taking pics of my injuries . . .
So be carefull out there - Life's too short to spend it in prison over something like this ! ! ! | |

another one. the woman slugs the guy with a backhand ( again ) after the guy stared at her breasts after being warned. starts at message 54.
the thread link above is the one about a guy who asked her which hotel would they be heading to. and who then added " well the other girls did" , then she backhanded him...
her argument was that he too deserved it. When people said. " um.. seems rather severe and just plain wrong!" her reponse was that she could charge him with solicitation.. too funny.
she slugs the guy and then says he deserved it.
her argument is similar to those people who try to put the blame on the person being hit for having "caused" the person to lash out.
husbands routinely do this to their battered wife. it ain't funny then,, it ain't funny now. | |

One in four women are abused (physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or sexually).
While most abuse is men on women, you can have a female batter or a same sex batter.
Hitting anyone is wrong. It does not matter who is doing the hitting.
For those of you how say to "get out" of an abusive relationship, have never been in one. It is not as easy. The most dangerous part of leaving an abusive relationship is 48-72 hours after leaving or ending a relationship.
Abuse and hitting is not about hurting someone, it is about controll over another person. | |

Really? Human survival instinct is much stronger. In all of the most recent ship disasters men have survived at a higher rate than woman AND children. Same thing with airline crashes. The men push the women away from the doors and lifeboats not into them. Men are hard wired to survive at ANY COST. Women aren't anything special and definitely not worth dying for.

Cutting someone slack because of they're genitals strikes me as insensitive and politically incorrect... I mean unless she has tiny ineffectual fists. Then its just cute. ^_^ | |
