This scrolling left to right to read my inbox is quite irritating and most of the forum posts are also a scrolling situation now for me. I think it's always great to give things a "face lift" or new look, but this just sucks. I have to make my screen so tiny in order to see email, read, replied that my nose is now stuck to the screen ~ any my eyes are crossed from the tiny font. I'm getting older ~ but I shouldn't need a set of bi-focals just to read my email.
As for style sheets ~ whatever works. I HATE my space. All of that personalization is great for that particular site, I won't do it here. There is already so much "stuff" in our profiles, the new compatibility test, the needs assessment, the testimonials, the favorites, etc. Add some cool smileys, make the quote/bold/italic functions mouse assessible and leave it alone. Forums need an upgrade to a more "user-friendly" zone. The profiles were nice the way there were. Now it's just all strung together and cluttery. Sorry, that was my rant for today.

So in order to go to another site, I will be needing to close out POF... I do not want to do that!!!!!! PLEASE!!! I love this site and have many many friends here...but I can't get away from the MUSIC!!!! | |

Posted: 7/28/2007 2:23:32 PM | I really didn't notice the colour as much as I noticed the formatting is all weird now. The whole page use to fit on my monitor....but now I have to scroll to get it all in. I don't care too much for this formatting...scrolling drives me nuts!!

Posted: 7/28/2007 2:30:29 PM | It's too bright for me. I like the soft grey or even dark grey backgrounds. Easier on the eyes. The white is also too bright.
Whatever you did with the "colours" really screwed up my screen. Now I only see half a page across at a time instead of the whole page. It is very annoying.

Those with windows.
Right click on monitor screen.. select "properties"
then select "settings"
You can adjust your resolution to close to 1024x780 pixels and that may fix your problems of having to scroll.... | |

That is exactly what I mentioned above and it makes it miserable to read. It does fix the issue with POF's new formatting, but I don't want my resolution set on 1024, it makes other things much more difficult to do while I'm sitting here wasting my time and it also inhibits the quality of the images. It was just fine the way it was. Simple fix, leave the new color changes, install the old formatting ~ no more scrolling or changing the resolution for anyone. | |
