| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 6:34:55 PM | Ok, I've checked it out on my laptop and both desktop computers and no scrolling is necessary. I think some of you need to trash the Fisher-Price resolution. | |

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 6:37:22 PM | The cool (lighter) blue is too bright on the eyes . . . the old color was easy on the eyes . . .
I also noticed the new format and that is nice!!!! Wider screen , etc. . . . the tabs are more visual, etc. . . .

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 6:42:19 PM | Yes, it's amazing! Nicely formatted and easy on the eyes. I also like how you made use of the entire page for all links! The new logo designed is nice too. Please don't erase it! The others who complain can adjust the colour settings on the PC.

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 6:43:56 PM | thought I would pass this on to those that have to scroll....
Hold the ctrl key down and use the mouse wheel to make text and pg smaller or bigger.... hope that helps. Randy

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 6:45:21 PM | crabstuffing you got that right, simple adjustments or upgrade. Thank you for posting your findings.
Most of these posts are from people that don't seem to know how to adjust their computers and or update and or upgrade. Maybe Creator of POF you can put up a how too for those that don't understand that they can solve most of their problems on their own simply, or a few with updates or upgrades, software and hardware adjustments are not that hard once you simply learn how.
I like the look and if they add a personal change for your own end that would work great. Light blue works for the majority of people easily. Green is used in institutions, even in other colors they paint the walls with, to calm the masses and keep order.
Even navigating the POF site is easier. Good Job Creator of POF! Thanks again!

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 7:23:37 PM | | How did you change the text viewing size? I don't like the new format for widescreen monitors either, especially since I don't have one, have to scroll across way too much, thanks | |
|
| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 7:26:47 PM | Since the changes I have to scroll right to see the entire page. It's rather annoying. Yes I know I can change the display size in my control panel but it all worked perfectly before the new changes took place.
Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware that this problem was happening.

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 7:43:49 PM | | I think you should let us design our own layouts and put up music. I have a wicked profile on myspace. Its a site to meet friends. | |

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 7:53:18 PM | I would have to say that the page now seems too bright....and the colour blue does not to me suggest romance or those seeking that emotion. How about changing the emoticons they seem a bit childish.

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 7:57:05 PM | | I don't think music is a good idea. This is not myspace. I think a feauture should be added so when one clicks on someones picture it gets bigger, lots of the photos are blurry or 2 small. | |

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/28/2007 11:57:59 PM | I like it a lot. It works beautifully with my widescreen monitor. Different color schemes would be great but do it through CSS as you intended or in some other way that allows me to choose how I VIEW the site rather than having each profile appear a different color.
I really like the uniform look of the site. It forces users to express themselves through the written word instead of their possibly tacky visual taste. Allowing users too much freedom to customize the look of their pages will quickly lead to the obnoxious visual pollution that you find on MySpace. Allowing music on profiles would a HUGE mistake. Although... if users could freely customize their pages anyway they wanted, it might help us to more quickly weed out unsuitable fish, because you would instantly see their horrible taste and quickly run away from their profile saving yourself a headache, before having to even read a single word
keep it up... | |

| Do you like the new Color Scheme? Posted: 7/29/2007 4:34:47 AM | | Yeah well we can do without the 'fisher price' sarcasm thanks. My computer is pretty new and I know my way around it. But it's not wide screen and changing the text size doesn't work. What does work for me is getting rid of my bookmarks sidebar. But I like having my sidebar there! There was never a problem before and there isn't a problem with other sites. I prefer it the way it was. Cheers. | |
