If you really need to hear music fire up your CD player, radio, stereo, boom box, MP3 player, whatever. The thought of having someone else's music forced on me just to view their profile, sucking up bandwidth, slowing down the already extremely busy website will just annoy most of us fishes. We are here to find mates, companions, partners, people to be with, date with etc. Once that has been done you can go "make your own music".
Please, no music here!

Posted: 7/27/2007 9:30:23 PM | For those people who have to scroll across to see the whole screen do the following:
1. Right click on your desktop (not an opened window) and select Properties from the menu.
2. In the Display Settings window thats opened up click on the Settings tab on the far right.
3. On the bottom left of the window you will see Screen Resolution with a bar below it. It will show 800x600 if your having to scroll to see the entire POF web page. Slide the bar to the right to 1024x768 and click the Apply button on the bottom right of the window.
You will now be able to see the entire web page. If the print is too small you can either change the size of the font or use the above directions to change your resolution back to 800x600.

Posted: 7/27/2007 9:36:27 PM | Yes. The new color scheme is a welcome change. I say no to music on here. It would slow things down too much. How bout a way to take the MBTI test again since I'm not an ENTP, I'm an INTP. Every time I've taken the test outside of this site it's always given me INTP except this one time. Anything to show people's specific uniqueness without the person turning the site into my.space. How bout some quizzes ? :P | |

But on a more serious note.........The color is a little bright......The text is a little small and I would like a distance counter.....You know like how far away are you from me..mile counter......that is something to think about.......but that is just me....

Posted: 7/27/2007 9:50:11 PM | I like it...and the new logo...and the boxed pics on the homepage - I'd love to be able to style the site my own way w/css. It would end up all insert{border:none;} and I'd change the default submits to colors. The inbox could be improved.... there is a good amount of space up top used for "NEW****Who viewed me" type of stuff that is redundant so you scroll to get to the first msg which is the reason you came to the link hehe. Music??? If this turns into profiles like geocities webpages I'm out of here. lol About the logo... Can any ethnic ppl be put in there? There have been white ppl for awhile... I'd like to see colors of bennetton up there because it is a diverse site and not just for white happy ppl lol I do wonder about that center area becoming more advertising, it's so relaxing right now :(

As for fonts - Verdana is easy to read - I think thats the spelling of it - also Tahoma is easy to read.
I like the brightness - I'm in my mid 40's and I can see everything better....roflmao | |

The Themes And Colors are more softer now .... so its more relaxing ..... and its got a mellow feeling with having that ..... i think maybe if u made it so we can all change the color of our profiles that would be really awsome and maybe even more photo's or photo albums ..... and a comment spot .... not just testimonial part for 2 ppl added to friends ... but maybe a good idea to make it so the person has to approve the comment to be posted on there site ... and how about even starting some real chat rooms on here :D if u want idea's send me a message and i sure do got lots .... thanks for your time and one more thing .... please do darken up the scroll bar cause that is alittle too bright that you cant really see it to well cause it blends in too much and ya that kinda becomes a pain in the arse | |

It fills up my 20" screen nicely now too. Thanks!!
For those that have to scroll, do you have a 14" monitor or something? You may want to upgrade, your eyes will thank you for it and you'll notice less headaches. Also, I can resize IE 7 and everything wraps nicely so there is no scrolling. Something with your PC set up most likely. Upgrade your web browser and or adjust it's properties and options.
