NO ONE should engage in even mildly risky play, like hot wax, let alone the edgy stuff, if they are drinking or doing recreational drugs. If you have sense enough not to drive when you're altered, you should have the sense not to put yourself or your partner at risk in your diminished capacity.
The same goes if your partner is partaking. Have a vanilla romp and save the whips and chains for when you're both sober. Every story I ever heard of kinky play going badly wrong involved alcohol, pot, or something stronger. No no no no NO!

Posted: 7/21/2008 2:04:00 PM | It's not the sort of thing people do as a surprise, nona. Kinky people talk, out loud, about what they want to do. That way, they don't waste time and energy passing judgment and threatening violence like vanilla people like you.
Although, if you want to kick a man in the nuts, there are some who want that more than anything else. You could both have fun! But you'll have to, you know, say so, out loud, to another person. I know talking about what you like isn't "normal," but really, isn't being normal about as fvcked up as a body can be? If I were normal, I just might put my head in the oven! What a bore!

Posted: 9/23/2008 4:43:50 PM | I used to have a parafin bath for feet and hand treatments.. if you have never had its awsome. so I associate hot wax with relaxation. you can handle wax at temps that would burn your skin were it water for example, so I love to play with candles.  | |
