The only exceptions seem to be if they were in a hospital bed (and even that wasn't always a deterent... LOL!) and funerals. | |

1) Because they can;
2) Use it as a tool to get something (like a promotion, etc.)
3) To get back at somebody like an acquaintance or "friend";
4) To anger a spouse ...
and there are 27 other reasons they listed, but what gets me is that intimacy and just wanting to be closer to the person you're with, fell toward the bottom!!!!
What the hell is with people these days anyway? I guess sex is no longer considered a special thing with someone you love, except that's the only reason I have it! | |

Posted: 8/1/2007 12:13:20 PM | I remember wa-a-a-ay back in my mid 20's, when I was first married, that I got into a big discussion with a friend/co-worker about the importance of sex in a marriage. We eventually compared it to 'common interests' and debated which was more important in a marriage -- i.e. if (hypothetically) a marriage could still survive if there was a total loss of one or the other. My view at the time was that common interests were far more important to a marriage than sex. And as this discussion got other couples involved with it, I found I was the only one who thought that -- including my wife, at the time.
It's very hard to sit here at the age of 56 and realize that I was such a stupid man back then.

consider this.........at our age......when we wake in the morning.......bones hurt......things are slower than they used to be as far as being able to do the things you used to do.........................but notice........in a sexual experience......all those positions we manage to get in...........Its like a Yoga session.........lol.......and nothing hurts after...
unless of course things got too wild and you bounced off the bed..........but even that you don't feel so much.....................

I can't and won't speak for all women but for me I don't need a reason to have sex. Sex can be found on any street corner within 10 minutes and with any available D**K. So, why bother? except to get your rocks off? What's so special about that?.......I, as a woman, need to feel a CONNECTION on a deeper emotional level than just merely physical.When I make love with a man it's a total joining of heart and body.
Reasoning with the mind has nothing to do with it..........the heart is in control.
I've heard it said that sex is between the ears but in my opinion........sex is below the neck and above the waist.....in the heart area. Check it out sometime.....it's the best sex you'll ever have.
