When I was married I went a year and a half once and a year another time with no sex when we were not getting along( all her fault lol) . Maybe some people can muddle through without sex long periods of time but after I got divorced I vowed never to live like that again. I was married and couldnt cheat because dont believe in it but now that I'm single with the exeption of a few dry spells(by choice and they didnt last long just needed alone time) I have sex more often and more positions then when I was married by far. | |

I was in a year and a half relationship with someone who had decided they never wanted to be intimate with anyone, but I enjoyed their companionship enough that it was fine with me. I found that I didn't really have any 'desire' to have sex or masturbate so long as they were able to fulfill my emotional needs.
Once we split apart, I found that I generally can't last more than a week or two before I just have an urge that needs to be sated. | |

Sometimes when i have alot going on i can easily go 2 or 3 weeks without masturbating. Dont get me wrong i love to get off but if i have alot going on it drops on the priority list. | |

These days, the longest I have been able to go without "actual sex" is about 6 weeks. Its sheer torture. Even if I am getting sex regularly, I am self gratifying at least once a day. If I am NOT getting sex at all? OMG. Well...last count, minimum 2-3 times a day. Guess its that 40's sex drive that's doing me in. LOL
