Posted: 8/5/2007 9:48:44 AM | I aggree with ruff but now a days and back then us humans and animals always had sex ,it's part of nature, helps stress, isomnia, like said again headaches, cramps for woman lol, and too top it all off , it's great exercise and you lose alot of calories like a big work out at the gym....So sex is a whole bunch of reasons why we have it...I think number one, it shows how confident , comftorble , open and confident a person can become while sex , we mostly show our emotions more or show our real self during sex , and if you aren't, you have low self esteem,you hate sex ,too shy(then why bother giving yourself for sex) or you just have a huge problem with yourself... thats my opinion          | |

Being able to strive to please another and to be pleased yourself. These days I can't imagine having sex with someone I didn't already have very kind and loving feelings for. When I was younger, sex was just sex, now it's an important sharing with the most important person in my life. (Well, I can imagine it........) ;-) | |

2. Because it makes me feel connected, close, welcome, cherished and loved.
3. Because it gives me a chance bring pleasure to someone who I am absolutely certain is deserving. And bringing pleasure to someone is the biggest high there is.
4. Because it always reminds me how worthwhile it is to feel/be alive.

either way, its one of the five basic instincts. were they five or less? cant remember, but sexual impulse lies behind the instinct to assure the survival of the species also.
so we are a horny and hormone driven bunch to begin with. for me its the mental connection w another, if im having sex w a partner, and how they qualify as breeding stock. sex is a primal instinct, cave men/women style... i get totally turned on by good breeding stock genes

- I had a headache, thought it would make it go away (you know, I have a headache right now....any takers?)
- Someone dared me (c'mon...someone dare me...I DARE you to!)
- I wanted to cahnge the subject (what subject is so boring that this is the only logical exit?)
- I was attraced to the person (duh!)
- The opportunity presented itself (more common answer for men...anyone surprised?)
- I was afraid my parter would have an affair if I didn't (How many people out there had an affair because their husband/wife didn't?)
I've had sex for three of those reasons, not telling which ones though.
For a practical reason: To keep the heard giving milk.
