Posted: 8/19/2007 9:14:04 PM | Your best move is to use Mapquest online, It's handy and will give you directions from your door to the restaurant... make note of the restaurant address before going to Mapquest....... . Lisle is about 20 miles from the loop (downtown Chicago)..... Take I-88 West from I-294 and get off the Tollway when it looks rediculously suburban... 
Mapquests basic info says the drive is 3 hours and 160 miles from Fond du Lac to Lisle. You are far from the only person to drive down from Greenbay, Appleton or Fond du Lac on occasion. There are Many places to stay in the area, but I recommend making reservations ASAP, Orbitz can be helpful for that.

Posted: 8/20/2007 3:01:44 PM | If you are west bound at I-88, get off at the Naperville Road exit. Go thru the toll plaza untill you get to the light at Naperville road. Make a left, and go to Warrenville road. You will see the place on the northeast corner of naperville road and warrenville road. You will make a right onto warrenville road, and the next entrance is to Mullens on your left. I think my directions are ok. They have changed alot because of the construction. Good luck.  | |

I Swung by Mullens tonight; in addition to the flock of Canadian Geese who reside on most corporate lawns around Lisle/Naperville, I was delighted to see both a Great Blue Heron and a Great White Egret on the rocks (no, those are not mixed drinks...) ... a testament to the generally good health of the western 'burbs waterways... | |
