Any single RV rs here?

I've noticed that most RVers have pets. I had two dogs and a wild cat back then. The wild cat stories I could tell you....
I enjoyed the fact that I felt like I had excaped civilization as we know it. No phone; no computer back then. Used a public phone.
So Grizz, tell me what issues you have with traveling w/the computer, phone service, potty drop, electric, etc.... any useful info?

Alas, I sold my not quite completed conversion a few months back because I simply wasn't working on it enough. I'm going to try again in the meantime the Parental unit and I are going to rent a regular RV for a trip to the Grand Canyon. For the most part though, the second converted bus will be my ride/horse tower.

I am a woman, 66 years old and took off on my first year last year RVing. I solo at this time but would love to find someone man or woman that have their rig and I in mine and just travel together and see the great country of your. I am widowed and retired and not afraid to travel. I spent most of last summer in Rapid City, SD. Had a ball.
Glad I have my RV and can travel.

I sold my RV...cost of fuel then doubled and now it's probaby close to 4x higher...it was a blast though...I put a bunk in the back of my pick-up and use a tent now...honestly I would suggest you travel lite and rent when you get there...but if cost is no object...enjoy...get a good battery with solar and a gen set and your always home

Well I guess I qualify !!

I am an Irish guy living in UK. Have always wanted to live in the States. Now, I am in the position where I might be able to get a visa by investing in a business over there ( from profit of my house sale here ) The excellent exchange rate is in my favour !

So, I am thinking of taking 90 days, renting an RV and touring around seeing which state I prefer and what businesses / franchises are on offer !

And yes, I am single so who knows, maybe I will find a nice US girl, get married and live happily ever after :-)

Would like to hear from Modine and Nursielou, fellow lady travelers. Their profile restrictions seem to be set too rigid so haven't been able to e mail them.

Nursilou spoke of going to Alaska this summer. Let's talk.! I too am an RN and would think this a wonderful adventure. Fun, to say the least ,and an ultimate experience.

I too am a retired professional lady who has an rv. Straight! Just me and my puppy!

Would like to correspond with other single rvers for possible "caravaning".

So, Nursilou or Modine or others, would like to hear from you......

Hello. I have been camping all my life, and still love it! I camped in pop-ups and a small travel trailer with my parents, and in tents my adult life. I also ride motorcycles, and throw a tent on the back of the bike and go for long weekends. Last fall I had bought a pickup and a toy hauler (travel trailer with garage in back half for motorcycle). I will still camp on the motorcycle at times, but now I have a couple of options for camping.
I haven't had the time or money to do any extensive trips yet, but hopefully that will soon change. I do have 4 weeks of vacation every year, so now it is a matter of money. So for now long weekends are what I am able to do. My big trip this year will be going to the Harley Davidson's 105th Anniversary and the HOG's 25th Anniversary celebrations in Milwaukee, WI the last week of Aug. I am taking my toy hauler with my Harley loaded in the back for the 5 nights. If anyone else is going, maybe we can get together sometime while we are up there. I am in the south Chicago, IL area...near Joliet, IL.

Yes I was a full time RVer from 2005 to 2008 I am a single male 39 retired firefighter I got a job with Featherlite Custom RVs I was a road driver and sales person. Every year in January I operated in 2005 a Prevost H345 Motor Coach RV and drove it over 200 Thousand Miles in one year going to RV shows and staying in National Parks and Walmarts. I was an employee but I was free to travel in it as long as I kept of the coach they paid for all the fuel and oil So in mid September 2005 I met with the design team to design my 2006 Prevost XL 2- 45 foot motor coach and I drove 150k that year in 2007 the design team build me a 2007 MCI DT 4505 Motor Coach RV and in 2008 the design team build me a Setra 45 foot motor coach and I drove it til April 2,2008 It was sold to a buyer in Boston for 850K.. I left the business to drive for Bolt Bus Lines the are a low fare Bus line offering fares as low as 1.00 each way www.boltbus.com

Thanks

Timothy

PS I loved to spend alot of time in Quartside in AZ

you can actually change your settings to include anyone in the world ... sorry i'm not an expert in taking you there so you'll have to hunt and peck like i do.

I own a 36' park model rv and really enjoy the rv although it's stationary. Have an aztek as well and have toured and camped in it w the tent package. Love to travel , got the means just donl't care to drive nor cross those huge bridges .... arkkkk.

Hi there, I have a 12 ft, travel trailer, camp with the grands a lot at the State park 8 miles from home. What fun, most of the family drops by some time throughout the week end ! They must smell the food, cook over fire on tripod. Camper is small enough to handle by my self, but willing to take applications lol
