Thanks to all of you who came out and made the night , ohhhh soooo much fun. Wow we've got some pretty terrific singers on this site.
scorp63....wish you could have stayed and sang some more...you're a fantastic singer...but ya know that already right 
mustangsally...my god ...you rocked the place girl...your voice is amazingly awesome and I had sooooo much fun singing that song you picked for us "fishettes".
littleking...I see where your name comes from...it sure suits you - you're a great singer.
~fiesty~angel - nevermind your thanks....you're an incredible lady - so sweet, kind and beautiful. I'm glad you came out and laughed and danced with us - to break your thoughts, even for a short time, I hope it helped and made you feel a bit better!!
A few of us are going out dancing next Saturday. There's not enough time to set up a get together post in the singles area and we're not quite sure on exact details and times yet. We're likely going to go out for some snacks and drinks first. If any of you fishies are interested in joining us - send shadowskeeper1, loneriderfbx or myself a note and we'll keep you posted.  | |

Posted: 8/19/2007 3:56:26 PM | Well I for one had an awesome time *coughbesidesthecountrytunescough* lol it was the best time I've had in a looooong time :) I am so glad I decided to go, and met so many nice people, including the yee hawers at the end of the table LOL it started out slow for me but with a lil help from Jose I did alright ;)
Thanks for the great time ladies & gents and for you all that worked so hard to get it going :)
ps: *hugs the ground* I made it home in one piece! joking Lonerider lol thanks for getting me home & you Shadow for hanging onto my jacket for me :) | |

Posted: 12/19/2007 3:36:08 PM | Why are Regina's meet and greets always in the (no disrespect to the establishments) most decentralized local spots that really don't inspire everyone to come out? I'd hope you'd have one at a club or pool hall on Dewdney so everyones cab fare at the end of the evening is similar. I dont want to sound like too much of a downer because I love and make a habit of supporting homegrown businesses, but The Crown and Hand? Gimmie a break. When I think, hip and happening, the Crown doesn't come to mind. Or the biker/trucker bar you've had in the extreme north end off Ring Rd.? Thats like having them at Montana's or Kelsey's at Southland mall. These places are great once and awile for those who like them. But I wonder what the average POF user in Regina's age and hangout spot is?
Heres an idea. How about trying a place like O'Hanlons so the group can grow and mingle in downtown Regina, amongst regular patrons of the establishment who are all very nice, good-looking, mostly single people? I don't want to have to beg people...cmon. | |

I come from Regina and have partied with the POF'ers at both of the for mentioned establishments...I am 51 and trust me they weren't a plave I would go however that said I choose to go to be with others and hey I loved it...if you don't like the current venues....feel free to start up a meet on your own any one any where u can have one so hey don't sit and complain or wish it were somewhere else make it happen....fishies all swim to the nearest pond so where the party is they will come........
