if you're talking about actors, chevy chase, tom hanks, steve smith (as red green), patrick mckenna (as harold green), robin williams, owen wilson, chris tucker, leslie nielsen, the whole sctv crew
all creatures great and small, red green and scrubs are the only tv shows that ever made me laugh out loud. not even the greatest tv series ever made in the usa, m.a.s.h., did that. | |

As far as comedians go, it all depends on my mood for what I want to listen to. Most of the time I listen to old Bill Cosby. However I find myself listening to Dennis Miller sometimes. Dane Cook makes me want to eat the business end of my .45! | |

sandler can rip the sh*t out of a jewish song on stage
speaking of songs....i have to give it up to the master of pure cheese: weird al. while the majority of his songs are good for a "ha ha", he has a few that are bust a gut cool.
murphy can do comedy about his family like no man can (aunt bunny! lmfao c'mon!)
janeane garofalo is the best at pessimistic humour
while over 10 years old now, i can still watch rodriguez's "live at san quetin" and piss myself. he's truly brilliant at his brand.
i like margaret cho and paula poundstone as well.
ron white is pure trash class! love that guy.
robin williams has THE BEST continuity humour i've ever seen. he can go on for an hour and come back to the same joke he started with without you even realizing it until you watch his video a second or third time. the subtle references that only some of the audience will catch are halarious!

Posted: 9/2/2007 5:33:03 PM | For me it will always be Richard Pryor, I grew up listenig to his stuff on record (remeber those?!) and every character came to life right then and there. Recently I started to listen to this guy Mitch Hedberg, he was so shy he'd do most of his act with his eyes closed unless he was really drunk, but now he's dead so I'll leave U all with some of his stuff.
Mitch says:
See, this CD is in stores. The only way I could get my last CD into a store was to take one in there and leave it. "Sir, you forgot this!" "No, I did not. That is for sale. Please alphabetize it."
I order the club sandwich all the time, but I'm not even a member, man. I don't know how I get away with it.
I went to a pizzeria, I ordered a slice of pizza, the ****er gave me the smallest slice possible. If the pizza was a pie chart for what people would do if they found a million dollars, the ****er gave me the "donate it to charity" slice. I would like to exchange this for the "keep it!"
I saw this wino, he was eating grapes. I was like, "Dude, you have to wait."
I sit at my hotel at night, I think of something that's funny, then I go get a pen and I write it down. Or if the pen's too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of ain't funny.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later. | |
