Plus they will im you and then ask you why you're so big. Well I find that not only rude but highly insensitive. As for people on the street, well I got a big mouth, so if i hear them saying anything, I usually just turn around and say something smart aleck back. I've been dealing with weight issues since i was 13 years old, I know I'm a big girl but you know what. I'd rather be fat and happy than skinny and ****y :D | |

Weight has always been an on going battle, for millions of women and men around the world. This issue has taken numerous lives, may we remember Terry Schavio. Being overweight can be deterimental to ones health, so living a healthy lifestyle is important, it is up to the individual to determine what their healthy lifestyle is to be.
Gailann, I am sorry that someone hurt you like that! I am sorry for all the women who have ever had ppl say rude and disgusting remarks about their bodies.
I have always said..."It must be difficult to be as perfect as them"....about ppl who insult others...

People who are prejudiced against the overweight are no different than people who are racist or sexist. Its still making judgement calls on personality and worth based on physical appearance. | |

Posted: 5/10/2005 11:13:46 PM | hi gail... i can understand a man who works outs and is physically fit wanting to be with a female that is the same...but what make me laugh is these guys that are homers expecting a women to look like americas next super model..recently i was messaged by a man asking me it my breast were perky...ha ha ha ..im 44 and have had children...what do you think..the funny thing is he was 51...does it still get rock hard buddy.. ha ha...go figure...anyway...for many years i was a finger puppet aka skinny chick wearing a size 7 over the last year i have put on weight now into a size 12..and wow i got boobs..i love them....i had no idea what it was like to have boobs...there great...so for all those guys out there that have a problem with women that a some poundage happenin...sorry for you luck you missing out cause boobs feel great and if you dont want to touch them then i will just play with them myself ha aha ahah      | |

I am a "Big" boy myself, and have always been built on the large size even when i WAS in shape (now 6'4, 265 - then 6'4, 225 and built) yet people (male and female) seem to think that the size of the stomache controls the brain functions?
How many times have i been called "fat"? - too many to mention. How many women give me a second look? - few and far between (forget that I have the ring on my finger - it would be nice to be looked at once in awhile anyways).
I have met many nice people of a larger size...some have been sexually attractive to me, some haven't...but I am never RUDE to anyone based on their SIZE - large OR small.
Give us "teddybear" types a chance ladies - you never know what could come of it? Remember "Revenge of the Nerds"....lol | |

I haven't had any bad responses as of yet. I think it's sad hoe ppl treat others sometimes.I know of a few sites that are just for BBW and the men who love them.Just because a person is BBW doesn't mean they are not as sexy or intellegent or have a lot to offer. I'm sure that person who said those things to you was a troubled person. Chin up Girl, there are Plenty Of Fish out there. | |

Girl - if a person is rude to you .. they don't deserve your time or emotion. If ya don't like what'cha seeing... keep on walking!

Posted: 5/19/2005 12:30:56 PM | myself, I'm fairly easy going... physical attraction CAN be an issue, but I wouldn't say it is a deciding one... however, in a the whole relationship aspect- I have to be attracted to you (duh). If I'm not, then so be it (and vice versa).
I'm not going to call someone overweight or ugly... just simply, "not my type", and... so be it, it is my opinion and my personal tastes- whoever this is being told this to should not take it personally... after all, I'm no 'hunk' or 'double-take' or whatever you want to call it. Some find me attractive (have yet to meet them, grin) and some don't. It's me, it's them... move on.
We each have inside of us the soul and person we truly are... the outside, is just a shell to keep it all contained and under control. I refuse to impose my personal 'tastes' on someone elses' life- how they look is their concern.

The only reason I haven't contacted them is because of age difference. If it weren't for age gap there are three that I would like to meet and get to know because they impress me with their photos, profiles, and posts... their size is inconsequential. | |

I just feel sorry for the poor lady who get's taken in eventually (assuming it will happen, as he has '0' friends on his list at the moment) by Mark's obvious wit and charm *cough*bulls**t*cough*
She will be in for one rude awakening when she discovers what a narrow minded and hateful person she has hooked up with.

Please don't group them in with this guy... he's not even deserving of the time it takes for your replies. I've seen you all post here many times and you are all much better than this clown. Rather than give him any recognition for his dumbass mouthing off, just pat him on his little head and send him on his way... which I would hope the admins do when they read his crap.
