| Are Alaskans on the outside of the Loop Posted: 3/29/2009 8:50:17 PM | I agree that Sarah is getting a bum rap. She may not have been ready yet for VP, but you could be in for a surprise when she does get into some kind of office. She has alot of potential and I for one, cannot wait to see it happen!
!!!Sarah for President in 2012!!!
P.S. I know Sarah and she is an awesome person.

Surprised to me to see this thread has survived all this time.. I leave and come back thread is still there.

| Are Alaskans on the outside of the Loop Posted: 5/7/2009 12:11:36 PM | | Honey i think all the men here in Alaska.. well Juneau are either drunk, getting drunk, on drugs and living with mommy looking for a mother or looking for barbie.. there are no barbie just extra tough boots ha ha , and when you write to a man there like "Your Where?" like Alaskan women are contaminated or something? Really, so when you find a serious answer to your question please forward to my box. | |

| Are Alaskans on the outside of the Loop Posted: 5/7/2009 8:30:47 PM | | Glacier, I think you are right about the men in Alaska but I have one thing to add, I've run into an awful lot of men who are jaded by past relationships and moved to Alaska to run from them. Also, I've been asked "aren't there 10 men for every woman in Alaska?" Nope, its the same as everywhere else unless you get into remote villages. Add to this, Alaska has one of the highest domestic violence rates in the country, highest sexual assault rate, alcoholism, it all points to women being devalued and it makes the pickings pretty slim when you are looking for a decent man. | |

| Are Alaskans on the outside of the Loop Posted: 7/12/2009 2:44:05 PM | Sorry to say you wont be out of the loop for long. From what I have been reading many gangs from the lower 48 states are moving to alaska Possible reasons! less competition yearly check for residents Does anybody have any thoughts or experience with this problem ? | |
|
| Are Alaskans on the outside of the Loop Posted: 7/12/2009 5:50:12 PM | | I don't know that the reasons are 'less competition' and 'yearly check for residents,' but the number of gangs and the activity has increased in the past decade or so. I think it's because more folks are moving in from all over the U.S., not so much for the 'yearly check.' | |
