| I think it's rude
Posted: 11/6/2008 12:10:44 PM | I had a similar situation, drove out of town, had a great connection. We haven't promised anything serious but, he was showing me affection and what have you .We were at a a public event, with people he knew. I knew NO ONE. He introduced me to his friends, and suddenly a woman appears and I am ignored for over two hours. She leaves, and suddenly I'm his best friend. I mean come on, do I LOOK like I just fell off the stupid tree?
Then I go home and find out he was online while I was there on a Sunday. Uh, no class. No way. I would never treat him like that while he was with me at my place. It's just rude. This guy you were with should have focused on getting to know you. You made the effort, he should have as well. That definately does NOT make you a drama queen.

I have had that happen to me more times than I can count always finding them on the site talking with someone else when they are supposed to be so into you and getting a relationship established. God forbid they don't have a back up girl to fall back on if it doesnt' work out with the first one. I have been lied to more times than I can count and stood up and called names just because I let them know in as nice a way as possible I wasn't interested. I thought the whole idea of this site was to meet intelligent men who were serious about finding a woman they can connect with. HA! What a bunch of bull. All they are looking for is sex and won't even give anything else a chance. If that was all I wanted I would have gone and picked some loser up in a bar. I am done with this site. Good Luck to all the rest of you but I can find a lot better things to do with my time then to play these stupid childish games. | |

Posted: 11/9/2008 6:40:33 PM | I had something weird happen to me one night. A guy from another site was on a date, and had contacted me by phone asking if things didn't work out with the two of them, could he come see me the next day.
So I wasn't sure what he had just said, and asked him to repeat it.
He said he was on a date wth someone he had met on line, she was in the bathroom, and he didn't think it was going to work between the two of them.
Then he went on to ask me if things didn't work out between them, would I be willing to let him come see me the next day.....
I was schocked, and said not only no , but hell no.
He asked why, and I said, because I would feel like if things between us didn't work, then he would be calling someone else behind ''my'' back....
I felt sorry for the woman he was with, and later when I found out who she was, I sent her a note. He had given details of thier date on the phone, so when I told her what had happened, she knew I was telling the truth...
Some people...I swear..... They have no clue at all when it comes to dating!!!

I met my ex on-line. We were an item for five years. Lived together, got engaged. I had no idea, but he had profiles on dating sites for at the very least the last three years. What a creep! That felt good. | |
