I just feel everyone needs to have a chance to derive their own opinion about new things (people, places, foods, experiences, etc.) Personally, I LIVE by the phrase..."Don't knock it until you try it." Right?
Besides, no one will be kept hostage. If you aren't enjoying yourself, have your one drink and go. BUT, having a group of 100 plus AWESOME, FUN, WILD people such as us there, will most definitely create an atmosphere unlike whatever you may have experienced there in the past. We ARE the party. It will be what WE make of it! Soooo, who's ready to PARTY???  Who's with me???

YES, This is Lady_D. I'm typing from my daughter's computer again. SO, the wrong pic shows up! UGH! I should have the laptop back soon. I can't wait!
Anyhow, I promise to get some hotel rates posted by the end of the week. I apologize for the delay, But with school starting today, the weekend was crazy enough. Then, to top it off my great uncle passed away. UGH! Never a dull moment! Let me get passed the funeral on Wednesday. And by Friday, I should definitely have some rates posted. Not to mention the NEXT POF party as well.
FYI....I'm still planning on heading to Lakeland this Saturday. Should be a great time! I know there's at least a handful of us going from Orlando. Who's joining us?

Are you trying to tell me something?!?! lol Since I wouldn't dare get my butt up there to sing...even after a few drinks!....I will clap for anyone that does!!
I sure hope I can make the next event! Maybe I could even make it to Cowboys one of these nights. I haven't been there in a long time! I'm off to my next convention in Reno tomorrow so I won't be in Lakeland either.

Dynamite Kisser, you aren't chickening out are you ???? sounds like there's lots of gals that want to see if you live up to your name.......the pressure is on.....lol.

And yes, there is a carpool going to Lakeland this Saturday. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a seat left. The 6th person is supposed to confirm with me on Fri. If she cancels, then the seat is yours if you want it. Deal?
WILDFLWR5 - I will have the hotel rates posted by tomorrow afternoon. Looks like they're gonna be pretty affordable.
LUVNURSING - I sure hope you make it! We've got a little wager going! I've got $10 in favor of you making it this time! Don't let me down!

Since I have never been known for random acts of kissing, well except for a time a two at the post time lounge or at the POF Bowling party where I found someone absolutely kissable... I was thinking that the people getting up to sing and stepping outside their comfort zone, providing us with entertainment and sometimes laughter should be somehow rewarded... So I propose that a song sung is worth a Kiss..
So Patchwerk.. either your going to have to get up there and sing a song or hope that I find you absolutely kissable...
And Wolfie... I thought we have talked about this before... You wouldn't want me to imagine kissing my ex would you???  | |
