| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/27/2009 4:04:48 PM | of souls too sick to sing of feet too weak for dancing of arms to old to hold of hearts that have turned cold of minds too closed to see there is an unspoken unity that's carried us through eternity may not keep us all from harm but may just help when we feel alarm of the most horrendous kind when the bomb and the gun fill the landscape not with grass but with ammunition when the air we breath poisons us daily when the water we drink has a very peculiar taste and stink when the skies unfold not with sun but pollution yet holes in the atmosphere mean the sun is to be feared... no wonder souls are too sick to sing and feet too weak for dancing | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/29/2009 12:15:17 AM | feet too weak for dancing head too big to hold up you wear me then you wear me down whenever I drink from your cup staggering drunk and happy but worn just a little bit thin I lay in my bed and cover my head tomorrow we will dance again | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/29/2009 7:44:56 AM | tomorrow we will dance again if only in our hearts the sun will shine after the rain though we'll have a muddy start
I see it now peeking through the clouds hope rising with each pulse or is that a wave
the warmth slips past my skin resistance touching guarded sensitivity a smile escapes my thought of existence opening a door to all possibility
Questions now flood in delaying all previous precedence should I go golfing it would fit my independence
I see it now peeking through the clouds hope rising with each pulse or is that a wave
| |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/29/2009 8:59:44 AM | is that a wave or just a gnat neighborly smile or grimace, that not being sure I had to ask her will I see you in the future or in the pasture | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/29/2009 1:45:32 PM | in the pasture is what u say? now thats a line i often say!!! their sometimes green and sometimes brown sometimes your up sometimes your down there it is i do surmise but let us not get pastuerized | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 3:45:42 AM | But let us not get pastuerized at least before we notice and realize we could have just floated right up to the sky and flown here under power of each other's eyes | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 4:06:01 AM | flown here under power of each other's eyes though sometimes it's the power of each other's lies that often can't be hidden when looked within with reflection if only we could stop them at their first conception if only we could be free of our own perception that we need to be greater than we really are if only we realized this then honesty would go far then maybe we would all see that divine spark of humanity | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 8:19:21 AM | that divine spark of humanity can often look like insanity be distorted easily by vanity then washed away with the dirt
that free gift of higher taste can often expand the waste be deposited on the other waist then aid in many forms of hurt
that creative inventive mind can often be left behind be twisted into being unkind then seem to belong to a jerk
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 8:31:48 AM | then seem to belong to a jerk always taking sick days off of work thinking no one can see their irresponsibility thinking they are more justified to try and lie not realizing their false cry makes it real hard on the other guy or maybe not caring is really why...
living each day in a selfish display forgetting we're all in this together so share the load before we're so old our hearts have gone cold our bones grown small holes and before we know it the days speed by faster ...
then suddenly we're put out to pasture
| |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 3:43:11 PM |
suddenly we're put out to pasture left to ponder the hereafter is this a natural disaster is this the chance to start again
its only sudden for lack for sight someone well planned foretold this plight prepared and ready it feels alright there's no need to strain the brain
turn that hobby into your quest kept a schedule to keep your best this is the final ultimate test every garden needs some rain
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 4:13:06 PM | every garden needs some rain every heart needs some pain everyone needs to go insane that is the rhythm of life
everywhere the stars do shine every poem that has a rhyme every time i lose a dime i smile at the rhythm of life
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 4:24:12 PM | I smile at the rhythm of life hard as it may be, I find that light Off beat happenings, up and down seemingly goes round and round
Lost roads, with its twists and bends New places found, with means to mend Harvest failed, I again plant my seed For life is a melody, and I play lead
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 5:50:57 PM | For life is a melody, and I play lead Who's the director of this game of life? I want a new role ... I want a role that has a chance of being real something I can feel | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 6:01:33 PM | something i can feel is the warmth of the desert sun the brilliant stars of the desert night your warm breath on my neck the love in my heart
(hey iceman...you haven't aged a bit!!!)
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 6:29:24 PM | The love in my heart Radiates in your eyes The reflection of a smile When I am just happy in time Time spent with warm felling A perfect hand that fits in mine I can see the love in your heart When your eyes twinkle with glee You like to laugh especially with me Comfortable being who we truly are While kissing under a midnight star | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 8:06:49 PM | While kissing under a midnight star I remind myself I won't go far just over the hill and mountain pass or until I run out of gas then I'll turn around and there you will be under the stars kissing me | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 8:25:29 PM | Kissing me, licking my wounds, keeping me warm, like in the womb, I relinquish my tomb,
my castle walls, strong again, build back up my defense, but still open my heart, to all who need support,
I will bear the burden, which weighs you down so, the hands of a healer, will make your blood flow, will set your flesh afire.
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 8:51:48 PM | will set your flesh afire. turning on all your desire to be free from weighted heart standing alone in the dark let me help you through the night I will fight for what is right!
| |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 9:01:06 PM | I will fight for what is right! Never dark, always light.
The immoral do not realize they are immortal, we do not die, and all you reap shall be returned, in the light, shall it burn.
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 9/30/2009 9:07:16 PM | in the light, it shall burn. make sure you keep it covered when at home an ice bag is a great way to relieve the pain
Sunburns can be so bad ....
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 10/1/2009 4:48:29 AM | an ice bag is a great way to relieve the pain you say it's the way to ease sunburn but also if drinking you can't refrain when you wake the next morning without any warning your head starts hurting you feel like cursing all day you'll be nursing the pain then the room starts spinning all over again | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 10/1/2009 2:55:33 PM | then the room starts spinning all over again have you watched the game show, "Wipe out?" Spinning like that will make you sick. Makes one a bit wobbly in the knees also The smart ones try to keep an eye on one object head turning to keep it in view still a bit dizzy, but none of them spewed ... | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 10/1/2009 11:52:46 PM | none of them spewed though what was brewed caused lewd behaviour distorted flavour induced labour into a strike as the video paparazi took a bite a fight broke out screams and shouts all about some flashing moment of truth a bit of verbal bashing from a youth then Ruth decided to go home not at all afraid to be alone | |
| First Line, Last Line (Part Deux) Posted: 10/2/2009 6:49:46 AM | not at all afraid to be alone a sober quest for drunkeness for sins we must atone for infidelities we must address a craving , a lust for beer what started is nearly done for you and you alone my dear I'm finished with you hon' | |
