What Notre Dame has gotten from him the last 2 seasons is the worst rushing team in ND history for '06 and the '07 edition makes last years team look like Super Bowl Champions!!
It's becoming quite apparent that Charlie has ridden quite a few coattails in his assistant coaching career. It seems since leaving the Pats ......that they haven't missed a beat and are still winning.
It appears that Tom Brady MADE Charlie Weiss......and not the other way around as Weiss and the media would have you believe!!
(It's a good thing for Pats fans that Brady had all of his QB skills coming out of college!)
Even if Notre Dame doesn't have the most athletic players....the missed tackles, penalties, inability to snap the ball, missed blocking assignments, and fumbles all go back to coaching!!  | |

LSU-FL is gonna hurt I'm a huge homer but even i can see 9 returning starters on defence and they can all flat out fly! if the game was in the swamp i would still be nervous. but hey its the SEC maybe we loose to them early, get some film study and maybe a rematch in the championship game? for the right to play for the whole thing.... that would be kinda fun! we all know its hard to beat the same team twice in a yr so who knows? the domer hasn't written back because they haven't scored on offence yet! I always like Southern Cal and they put Nebrasaka away with the running game. John David is going to have a great year and might win the Heisman if he get the stats going which I know he will. I seen him play in high school and even seen him play when he was in fifth grade and knew he would be a great player. I do believe Cal will give Southern Cal a close game but Southern Cal will beat them. | |

Posted: 9/21/2007 5:17:45 PM | | USC is the best right NOW... however will they be the best at the end of the year when it matters most? or will the rugged SEC schedule do for FL or LSU what it did for FL last year? make them stronger! i only hope it does, but my biggest fear is LSU and FL will beat each other and neither one of them get to go the National championship and a team like WVU will run the table in a weaker conference and get in the game. that would be a crying shame, because i think most would agree the the top 5 are in no particular order, LSU,FL,USC,CAL,OU ... WVU prob fits into the top 8 but that's not going to be the 2 best teams meeting if the teams from the SEC beat each other up and thus VOTERS don't see it that way... perfect time to call for a playoff what a fun thing that would be this year with 5 or 6 teams with legit shots! | |
