| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/21/2007 7:07:09 PM | | this may be the year where you do have 5 or 6 contenders and perhaps as many as 4 or 5 with no losses. making the playoff argument the strongest it has ever been. | |

He was good with the Pats.
I really don't care for ND, but...
Go LSU. | |

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/23/2007 8:06:51 AM | | i hope you people can keep a secret, but i took michigan yesterday. don't want my fellow psu fans to find out. but on a darker note i also took the dames and the points. i need the chargers. | |

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/23/2007 9:14:11 AM | i agree with u deejay! GO LSU!! think my tigers are gonna do really well this season :) Becca | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/23/2007 5:21:16 PM | | the tigers are SCARY! Ive said this before, the only team with a shot is UF and the gators have it stacked against them in that one. 1st a nite game in death valley! 2nd payback from last year! 3rd they are wicked fast on defence! the only weaknees LSU has right now is that they have a young receiving core, and like i said previously maybe a rematch in the SEC championship game with UF and who knows? its the SEC the roughest conference in the nation. | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/24/2007 10:25:27 AM | yeah the LSU/ Florida game is one i will definitely watch..even though i am a big LSU fan, i don't even know for sure who will win that one. may not be a Gators fan but i did have a lot of fun watching them beat the crap out of the vols :) :) :) would love to see it come down to florida/lsu in the championship game. you're right..no other conference even comes close to the SEC. :) Becca | |

you're right..no other conference even comes close to the SEC. :)
from top to bottom, the pac-10 is every bit of good as the sec....
I know nobody watches the pac-10 like the sec...but im telling you....very good teams in the pac 10.....

but the beauty of it all is what beano said today. the penn state will play ohio state for the "title"
I know I'm backtracking here, just wanted to weigh in with my .02 cents on the Beano Cooke comment. If you'll remember when Ron Powlus signed with Notre Dame , it was Beano who said Ron would win 2 Heisman Trophies before leaving ND early.
We all know how that cam true. ......and you know that Ron Powlus is the QB coach at ND...looks like thats paying off huge dividends for the Domers as well !
Getting back on target, while the PAC 10 can match the SEC in speed, I think that the defense for the middle of the pack and down is very suspect in the PAC10. I'd have to give my nod to the SEC.......but I'm a Big 10 guy so what do I know. Our conference is taking knocks from top to bottom!!

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/25/2007 8:43:48 AM | It's looking like my Razorbacks aren't going to be able to pull off a win of any kind-hope it doesn't take McFadden down with it. I'm fully supporting them, but pray to God LSU takes all! | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/25/2007 9:44:48 AM | | beano is just out of touch with todays game. but he is still a character. his moment of glory was predicting the score of the redskins superbowl victory(the doug williams game) | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/26/2007 2:51:57 PM | | well we aren't going to get the powers that be to think rationally about a playoff, and this is a very sad thing because this is going to be one of those years where an undefeated weaker conference, weaker schedule team ranks higher than a one loss team from a stronger conference. we will see but i hope the computer and the people running the computer can see the forest between the trees... | |
|

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/26/2007 7:29:05 PM | | yes you just made my case, not to take away from WVU and what it takes to be undefeated, however, can you really say they are the number 2 team in the country over a 1 loss UF team or a 1 loss LSU team based on strength of schedule alone? i find this a very healthy debate, and one I'm sure is hashed and rehashed every year. like i say I'm in now way disrespecting WVU like i would someone who went undefeated in a WAC or SUN conference but really the only real question is would they run the table in the SEC or the PAC-10? if you can say yes then we agree to disagree but i think its almost impossible to do that these days! | |

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/26/2007 8:18:11 PM | Hell Yeah Did anyone Watch UGA on ESPN on 09/22/07 where they Beat ALABAMA The Score was 26-23 Ouch!!!!! They had to go in Over Time!!!! Go Dawgs...... | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/28/2007 6:49:19 PM | quite sure most of you have heard this one.... did your hear the pope finally spoke out concerning the present condition of the ND football team? he suggested to take Purdue and the points! | |

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/29/2007 3:09:26 AM | NEWS BRIEF: Notre Dame football practice was delayed nearly 2 hours after a player reported finding an unknown substance on the practice field.
Head coach Charlie Weiss immediately suspended practice while South Bend Police and Federal investigators were called to investigate.
After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.
Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/29/2007 10:15:23 PM | Well, now, you should be nervous, Mr. Gater. Considering that #4 Florida got beat by. . . AUBURN!!! Unrated Aurburn. WOW!
Let this be a lesson. It's college football. NEVER get****.
XXO (uh, these are X's and O's, as in football, not as in hugs and kisses).
Oh, by the way, Ohio State beat Minnesota, 30 to 7 (yeah, the sucky BIG TEN. Pffft). Go Buckeyes! What an upset Saturday!
Sweet, sweet, sweet. . .
An Ohio State fan | |

| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/29/2007 10:36:33 PM | | hey its the SEC anything can will and does happen 5 in the top 10 got beat! its why i love college football, yes i am very upset but the beautiful thing is there's always next week and anything can happen! | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/30/2007 7:14:49 AM | | That's why I love college football, too. Anything can happen, so much emotion. My dad was a high school football coach for 35 years. After a loss, it was one day of sorrow and then, "There's always next week." They'll break your heart and then make you soar. | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/30/2007 11:44:30 AM | | well the way USC started and LSU didnt play very well either we could have one of those years where no one is undefeated? that would really make it fun for all those voters and computer geeks! | |
|
| college football season 2007 Posted: 9/30/2007 12:01:09 PM | | or even more shit stirring would be to have a lesser team from a bcs conference run the table. a week or so back i'm thinkin' there could be 5 or 6 teams with no losses but none of them, except for one, were the 5 or 6 that stand undefeated today. how can anyone not love this shit!!! and my two teams took it on the chin this week. | |
