So, you need to enlighten me on this gambling stuff.
If the Ravens score inside of 21 points of the Pats, you can win money????
I haven't gambled before (on this anyways)...
dee jay...
when the game started it was 21-0 nothing for me...ravens got 21.....so yes...I won the SPREAD last night....
the spreads are gonna go down a little bit now that the pats have struggled a little bit, but its still gonna be stupid spreads. Its because the pats fan will load up and make the number go higher...
I keep saying..the pats are gonna lose to a team that they SHOULDNT lose to....they shoulda lost last night...BUT..they didnt..and its better to be lucky and good on the same night...
if this game doesnt prove that billick is a horrible game manger...I dont know what does...why is someone calling a timeout on 4th and 1?...makes no sense to me...but oh well..you give the pats that many chances they will score...plain and simple...
Its hard to say a team has a "weakness" when your 12-0 BUT.....feeley and boller just put up some points on that defesne in the last two weeks.....it looks like middle of the defense is a little soft for the pats....kyle boller?...you let boller put up more than 20 points on you?...you won the game..doesnt matter....but middle of the field might be the way to go with the pats....

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 8:44:31 AM | ^^^the pats D looked pretty tired and somewhat frustrated late in the 3rd quarter. Ravens were busting some pretty good holes up the middle on them.
So 2 days in a row a superbowl winning coach costs their team their game with improper use of timeouts. Gibbs on Sunday against the Bills. I realize Billick didn't make that ridiculous timeout call last nite but the bottom line lies with the head coach.
Suddenly the Pats are getting their hands full with their opponents. Every Sunday is now suddenly SuperBowl Sunday against these guys. Their games have taken a new twist the last couple of weeks. I'm picking the Steelers this weekend to slow this ballclub down. Pats got hit solidly for 60 minutes last night and lose a day already from being on the road Monday nite.

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 9:35:41 AM | | well, no matter what the steelers do against the pats this week. the real fun starts in january. give the pats credit for capitalizing on the gifts. | |

How is it actually a forum if it is only states the positive about the bungles & not the negative which in this case certainly outweighs the positive..

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 2:14:31 PM | The Pats can DEF. be beaten. Especially the way that the team as a whole played last night.
In fact, they really should have been beat.
Somehow, they didn't though.
A squeaker for sure.
Boy did Bart Scott have a total meltdown. HEHEHE... very entertaining imo.

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 5:04:42 PM | I am glad i didnt bet for the Patriots to cover the spread this time . They were lucky that the calls went their way , otherwise it would have been a loss. Baltimore's coach calling a timeout on 4 down and 1 yard... , that sure helped the Patriots. A win is a win though. | |

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 5:41:09 PM | I always see weird things happen everytime I watch a Patriots play. Althought the outcome is in the Patriots favor, but its soo weird, such as last night against the Ravens.
I do agree with everybody on this thread that the Patriots should not have won last night's game, but Ravens became their own worst enemy, which lead to a lost.

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 5:56:33 PM | | Foss..I haven't seen anything like the final 8 minutes of that game. Funny thing though..Every time they showed Brady after each play he was cool as a cucumber. | |

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 8:39:06 PM | | this week big ben donated money to purchase vests for 6 police dogs in boston. he does this in every city the steelers play in this year. i'm sure there are other acts of charity by other players that go unreported. but these days all we hear about are guys doing their thug act. his story is kind of refreshing. | |

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/4/2007 8:59:47 PM | Being that burgerboy is playing the Pats saves the above post from being relevant.
Trickee...
I suppose Timmons is sharpening up his cleats...

I suppose Timmons is sharpening up his cleats... No fair trying to get bulletin board material for the Pats! lol You know that was an accident when he stepped on Ricky Williams.
Seriously, no hype needed for the Steelers/Pats game!

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/5/2007 4:12:22 PM | I guess a player from the Steelers is guarantying a win against the Patriots.
Now this is how you throw more wood to the fire and the Patriots love it when players begin to talk trash. I hope the Patriots pound on the Steelers really hard.
Be expecting a whole new game plan and watch Maroney receive couple of catches in this game.

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/6/2007 7:11:12 AM | | Maroney needs to get his act together this game. He had the worst half of football I have ever seen him play in the first half against the Ravens. | |
|
| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/6/2007 3:44:52 PM | | Maroney did have a bad rushing game, but did you see him receive and catch some extra yards? He was fast? I think Belichick has find a different game plan for Maroney, however I could be wrong. | |
|
| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/6/2007 3:52:24 PM | | ^^^Out of the backfield on a screen type play. He rambled for over 40 yards on that one. Very timely play. That was in the 4th quarter and it was a bit of a heartbreaker on the Ravens because they were stopping the run with some degree of authority. The run D of the Ravens seemed almost stifling up until then. | |

| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/6/2007 4:16:51 PM | | Sly, No matter what ones feelings are about Ray Lewis on a personal level I don't feel there is another player in this era that motivates his defense more. Maybe a healthy Urlacher.. | |

I thought the very same way.
He might serve better as a Kevin Faulk type roll.
But the only thing that doesn't work for this is... the Pats already have Kevin Faulk.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
|
| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/10/2007 9:14:47 AM | 13-0. Not bad... the season isn't over yet, but it's closing in fast.
Jets, Dolphins, and Giants next on the to-do list.
|
| New England Patriots 2007-2008 Posted: 12/10/2007 9:50:04 AM | | The Pats made it look easy against the Steelers. At this point, I'd be surprised if they didn't go 16-0. The only real threat is the Giants, but the way Dallas dominated them in both games, don't forsee any problems there. Playoffs are another story, though. | |
