Those teams don't matter because there are other areas the Pats are doing much better. We don't need to be high scoring team....W are more important.

You can have over 300 yards in a game and still lose ...... Troll! The other areas you are talking about which the Pats are better is Video taping, Belicheat is the best at it, paying off officials, winning games when the other team blows it, Quack Quack

he/she fairies will leave money under your pillow when you leave your beat up dildos there while sleeping.
No pal....this only happens in mASSa-chussets!..........i see that your alter-ego (blue dildo) is wearing a bledsoe jersey.....don't think even he has any confidence in the lady boy!
Betta-cheat is easily the most devious man in the NFL coaching ranks...he is the Richard nixon of the NFL!..............i have a gut feeling that Betta-cheat convinced Goodell that Brady should have special treatment, as he is the NFL's poster boy.........it musta killed Goodell to see the Paisties lose the SB vs. the Gmen!.........Thus, we can expect to see is the refs lowering the threshold on penalty calls when it comes to Brady, so as to facilitate his game.
I could somehow see Betta-cheat with a sinister smile on his face....kicking his feet up on his desk in his office........and tipping down a cold beer, winking at a photo of him and Goodell!

| New England Patriots Posted: 10/5/2009 8:29:26 PM | Rodney Harrison is splitting ranks with his former teammate, Tom Brady.
Harrison, now an NBC analyst, joined Ravens LB Ray Lewis in criticizing the roughing-the-passer penalties drawn by the New England QB on Sunday.
Said Harrison on NBC:
"Tom Brady, if you're listening, take off the skirt and put on some slacks -- toughen up."
Former Colts coach Tony Dungy, normally the milder voice alongside Harrison, agreed. He said the second penalty Brady drew, called on Ravens LB Terrell Suggs, was "an overreaction to (Brady) getting hurt last year."
"Rodney's right," Dungy said. "The rule states that you cannot hit a quarterback low, forcibly. This was not enough force to make this call."
After the Ravens lost 27-21 to the Patriots on Sunday, Lewis called the penalties "embarrassing" to the NFL, while Suggs said the league is interested in protecting "some quarterbacks more than others."

| New England Patriots Posted: 10/5/2009 11:49:01 PM | the league is interested in protecting "some quarterbacks more than others." Very true. I think Manning and Brady are a lot more protected than David garrard andKyle Orton | |
|
| New England Patriots Posted: 10/5/2009 11:52:14 PM | | Nancy, Yes It was a very competitive game and we easily could have won, but we shot ourselves in the foot too many times. Heh... I know it was costly but i still got a kick out of John Harbaugh getting a penalty for mouthing the referees. | |
|
| New England Patriots Posted: 10/6/2009 3:12:37 AM | | it's is no secret that big name players in the NFL get special treatment. The NFL is part sport, part marketing, but it's like this in every pro sport. Anytime you have a big name player that brings in a lot of money to their sport, they get special treatment. Now none of these pro sports leagues will ever admit to that, but it's obv there, all you have to do is watch how the refs react to them vs the avg pro players. I mean, I can name at least 3 guys off hand from each american pro sport that gets special treatment from their league. | |
|
| New England Patriots Posted: 10/6/2009 7:39:01 AM | We are talking about 1 play compared too many and all of a sudden everybody thinks Brady is getting special treatment. If you look at the video that JaB posted, it clearly shows him falling down towards Brady's knees. Brady was quick enough to notice and was able to move. What do you expect? Let him get his knee blown out again. He knew the new rules and took total of advantage of it. I agree it's a dumb rule, but it is now a rule. I have seen during the game against the Buffalo where Wilfork was tumbling towards the QB Trent Edwards and hit him in his gut. What happened? Wilfork was penalized. Even the sport analysis were confused.
I don't think there is special treatment for QB's like Brady, Eli, or Peyton. This rule will strictly be enforced among all QBs. I know each of you have already seen your QBs in the same situation....You are happy when it gives you the upper hand for your team, but bullsh!t when it affects your team. Again, I do think it's a dumb rule and during the offseason I thought to myself how crazy the rule is.

| New England Patriots Posted: 10/6/2009 8:09:50 AM |
I think Manning and Brady are a lot more protected than David garrard andKyle Orton Brees was only sacked 13 times last year..I think he was the most protected QB last year.
