| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/21/2009 9:54:39 PM | | HAHA nice one, you clearly haven't seen any of my pics. The other ladies on here would love to look like I look. I bet many of them are even jealous, or will be as soon as they get to know me better. Hun, you can't compare with me. You are bald, ok your smile is sorta cute, but you have no hair, therefore, you will not have any lady. Sorry to get that news out to you, but it's true. | |

| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/21/2009 10:21:33 PM | Emilia,
Not to bust your bubble, I really haven't noticed women wishing they had your look. However, you are right...the women on here don't compare to you because the majority of them are not foolishly overconfident in something that isn't.
I'm sure that Phil gets his share of women as does any other "bald" male or female for that matter. Come to Boston where 9 out of every 10 females are beautiful. Even the small percentage that are not, are still more beautiful than you. Your recent post just showed how "beautiful" you really are.
I shave my head and the women are plentiful.
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/21/2009 10:42:01 PM | ^^ you do look actually pretty hot hun. But offcourse you are wearing a baseball cap LOL. thats the only way a bald man can look good, is if they were a hat. Otherwise they know the woman would turn him down anytime.
OBVIOUSLY same goes for a bald woman. I know I am too pretty and smart (Hey the perfect combination, what do you know lol) to ever date a bald woman or a bald man. They are out of my league!!!!
Ok the lady below made a comment lol. I frankly don't think she means it, but lets say she does somehow mean it. With all due respect, your tastes need abit of improving hun!!
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/21/2009 10:55:47 PM | | Nobelfish is damn sexy....hair or no hair. I have no problem with men with little or no hair. | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 3:19:16 AM | Sure I've been turned down by women for being bald, and not in a nice way either.. The way I see it; their loss not mine | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 5:36:46 AM | Why do you guys care what a lesbian thinks? Why do you care so much that someone actually emailed me to read this thread?
Ok i'm not even bald; i just buzz my head, but...
29 is the woman's expiration date.
These bald men are in their 30s. The best time to be a woman is 18-24. The best time to be a man is 30 until he chooses that time to end.
She looks like she's on crack in her middle picture. Did her pimp put on her makeup?
And what's with the dumb puffy lips pose in the other pictures? She's not Angelina. Angelina doesn't have to fake the lips. Emilia just looks like a fake woman. I guess that could be some people's thing.
So if all these women want to look like they're a cracked out prostitute, I guess she's got that going. All she's got over other women is not being fat. And that's hardly an accomplishment.
"I am a very attractive young woman." - she's not young and even her vote breakdown says she's not very attractive.
5'8 is too tall for women. Men prefer shorter girls overwhelmingly. I guess it works for being the masculine one in a lesbian relationship (and yeah, there's always a dominant one even in lesbian relationships, so what does that say about your role as a man in a male/female relationship? Don't listen to what they say - dominate. Their words say no i'm equal, their actions say yes, yes, whisk me away and show me who's boss)
"I walk regularly" - Walking isn't exercise; it's window shopping.
"Hazel eyes" - code for plain old brown.
Guys, don't worry about this. She just gets off on riling you up. I'm buzzed and have no problem with women. I'm not even convinced her pictures are real and she just has a weird idea of sexy.
And like nobelfish, men can change their state of being. Women just plain out expire. You can build muscle and have a killer body at any age. Women just fall apart and at best can slightly slow the slow melting down a little. Women are victims of their fate; Men are masters of their destiny! You never ever have to feel bad about yourself from anything a woman says. Her time is ALWAYS approaching if she hasn't reached it yet. BEING A MAN IS GREAT!!!
I mentioned sexy. You guys ever notice that women have no idea how to be sexy anymore? They equate sexy with being slutty. They're so not the same thing. Oh look at my seductive puffy lips pose! Come on, that's not sexy. It's just trampy. It's almost as if the better looking they are the less they know how to be sexy. I guess it's because they've never had to be since pretty ones get guys regardless. Then they **** about those guys who are less than par since the best guys are going for ones with more than just pretty. "Where are all the real men? Where's the alpha?" With the other women who have their crap together... derr...

| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 6:00:45 AM | Emillia-dumb
LOL You're an idiot.
And ummm... sorry to burst your little pretentious bubble, but you're not that attractive. What's with that second pic? You look like a raccoon.

| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 6:39:37 AM | I'd rather date a man that is balding and is okay with it, then date a man that has a lopsided rug on his head....... | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 6:53:52 AM | Jeepers cmdrfunk, I get what you're doing here. But I think I'll go hide...oh wait...you said 5'8 is too tall... I've got something going for me after all...YAY! Just kidding... I can't believe that someone ressurected a 2 year old thread to slam bald guys (and apparently bald women) ...way to put yourself out there! | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 7:28:50 AM | | In my years of hair loss and as you can see its truly lost...I find men who are "Balding" or Halfway Bald to be hanging on...This is NOT my glass is half full situation!!!!! Being half bald is as bad as being all bald..Balding??? WTF is that? either you got it, or you dont got it..There are two cures for hair loss..One is a rug, the other is plugs..Rogaine works to a degree, but you are still gonna be BALDING!!! | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 7:30:03 AM | | I think we just need to go with the flow and let nature take its course..unless i win the lottery then the Elton John hair clinic might work for me!!...lol..along with a few other wee improvements!!..lol | |

There are two cures for hair loss..One is a rug, the other is plugs..Rogaine works to a degree, but you are still gonna be BALDING!!! My last bf was balding and he was handsome and sexy. He had no problems , with his bald pate attracting other women. Mmm, I should have said my last EX bf.
With menopause, I find that my own hair is thinning and I've found a shampoo that makes a difference on the number of stray hairs on my hairbrush - Lamas Chinese Herb Stimulating Shampoo.

I know I am too pretty and smart (Hey the perfect combination, what do you know lol) to ever date a bald woman or a bald man. They are out of my league!!!! Too pretty and smart for whom? Like too bald, ``too pretty'' is subjective. However, ``too smart,'' is something that is more readily determined. I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that without knowing your audience.

What? My eyes are hazel and they're blue/green.

| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 8:47:18 AM | My sympathies to those that actually agonize over this issue.
The way I see it, hair loss seems to be a pretty natural and widespread genetic "defect" amongst the male population, and I got bit by it early. By 19 I had already had my hairline recede a fair bit, to the point I was shaving my hair down with clippers (no attachment). Finally by age 26 I just started doing the full Bic razor and had done with it.
I never really worried about it: I knew it was coming since every man in my family tree is bald except one, so growing up I just assumed it would occur, though not THAT soon.
Whether it hurts your dating chances or not depends on several factors: (1) What YOU look like bald (i.e. the shape of your head, your facial structure, glasses, and ethnicity) (2) Whether you feel insecure being bald (I don't, so it doesn't affect my confidence or how I carry myself because I know some women will like it, some will be indifferent, and some will hate it) (3) What the rest of you looks like - Bruce Willis is still "hot" to a lot of ladies because he's got a solid body. If you're bald and have a colossal beer gut and man-boobs, guess what? Not so lucky... Think of it as an incentive to stay in shape!
Luckily for me as a black man, bald is trendy; it seems to suit the majority of us with our skin tone and facial features. Grow in a pinch or a little goatee and you can really look like a bada$$ and give the ladies a little "edge".
Do I miss my hair sometimes? Sure, it was fun having a 'fro as a kid, but it got annoying with all the upkeep as a teen and beyond. Plus I save myself a fortune on hair cuts since I can do it myself within 3 minutes daily in the shower.
Would I have taken Rogain or other medications had they proven more effective back in 1998? Maybe, but the thought of applying/taking a lifetime of medication to try and fight something so prevalent seems kind of ludicrous to me, like a woman that spends her entire life dying her hair color because she wasn't satisfied with the one she was born with... There are so many more productive things in life we could direct our energies towards...

| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 9:53:44 AM | I thought this thread was about hair loss and in that case, I haven't lost any, it just migrated. | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 9:58:52 AM | Dht blockers work, however they do often have side effects, some of which are unknown, known possible side effects-decreased libido, enlargement of man boobies, decreased semen, ...It's still not completely understood the complete interaction with testosterone Rogaine, which has become really inexpensive with generics, side effects again, decreased libido especially with long term use, and if you stop your hair will fall out. Lazer combs, have also become quite inexpensive and destroy dht in hair folicles, approved by fda, but so recently no one knows if they have long term side effects So now we have to wonder if all these women who write in their profiles they only want guys with hair know the side effects and just don't like sex!!! | |
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 10:08:43 AM | 5'8 is just right for a woman (I beleive). It is not too tall and not to short. That way as a woman you can stand your ground and not be a push over to anyone, yet you don't look like an overgrown female giant lol which is not the most appealing either.
You mentioned something about "alpha", well those were the kind of men I would have liked to have been with, you know the tall handsome, manly shaped, all their head hair, nice eyes and smile type. But not all of them are like that. But if there is an "alpha female" , I think I would personally match that description pretty well. I am the kind to start a party and finish it too. I start the action is the bed, and ...well a few minutes/hours later I finish too. It's called self respect and being confident in yourself. I am not trying to sound conceded, I am not different than most other ladies on here.
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 10:17:08 AM | If taking rogain makes you feel better about yourself...do it. It won't matter to most women either way. Just don't do comb over or rugs which I think are a turn off.
Truth is a lot of attractive men with a full head of hair shave it all off...it's a style thing.
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 10:27:08 AM | Curly, girl, that's just not true hun. To us ladies, we DO care about a mans hair, and anyone that says otherwise is not being honest.
Style???????? What do you call a style?? then there is no style then. If THAT look is a "style", then style has no meaning!!
|
| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 11:10:39 AM | | Nothing wrong with bald. My gf right now is bald and I find it sexy. | |

| Hairloss and dating Posted: 7/22/2009 11:44:20 AM | Wow it's entertaining that we have a new forum deity on the boards claiming to know the mindset of ALL women:
<div class="quote">[...]To us ladies, we DO care about a mans hair, and anyone that says otherwise is not being honest.
Perhaps YOU care about men having hair, and there are PLENTY of women that share your preference. But ALL? Hell no, and I can prove that with two older cell phones full of numbers of girls I picked up or dated. I've lost track of the number of times a girl has run her hand over the smooth top of my head while out at a bar/club and then purred coyly. I've been shaved for 4 years now, balding for 12, and have had little trouble dating during that time.
<div class="quote">Style???????? What do you call a style?? then there is no style then. If THAT look is a "style", then style has no meaning!!
Once again I find it hilarious that you appear to be that close-minded, either by being willfully obstinate, or just plain clueless.
To draw a fashion parallel, virtually any combination of clothes and adornments can be called a "style", no matter how ghastly it may appear to certain demographics. A high-priced haut-couture fashion model can still recognize that a goth/emo/punk chick is still dressed in a "style", even though it may look like utter "garbage" by comparison. A hairdresser can recognize that a mullet is a "style", despite it being laughed at in most educated circles. So by that reasoning a shaved head is also a style, since it falls into a distinguishable category of its own, thereby making it as unique as any other hairstyle people choose to apply.
Whether by choice or by genetics seems to be splitting hairs, pardon the pun.

I never heard of a complaint about my height (5'8) being too tall. So the credibility of what you said, is not much it seems. Maybe you don't like taller girls, because you are not as tall as you would prefer to be??
