| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 8/25/2007 6:03:39 PM | I put a lot of hours in at work...and when I was not there..I spent it traveling 20 miles each evening to visit my mom in the hospital...so I am taking a few moments to check my emails and turn in early.......

Wow. That many people in my house/yard at one time would have me breathing into a paper bag.
I am such an introvert that being around people drains me, so a gathering that size would probably kill me.
And I don't even know 30 people. I have like 4 friends and I communicate with THEM mainly by email and text.
So, home and here on a Saturday night because this is all I ever do....

Posted: 8/25/2007 6:57:29 PM | I had a 25 minute date!!! I'm dead serious - lol. So, after the 25 minutes, here I am. He took me "dancing" (I don't dance, thought he would teach me a few steps) He spent the whole time dancing with everyone else. I was bored stiff and got up and left.

1) Nobody to go out with. 2) I'm away from home all week with work. 3) If I was dating someone, I wouldn't be on here. 4) I'm not much of a bar person...
So that pretty much sums it up for me... A nice quiet evening at home really isn't so bad. The weather is cool for a couple days, the sunset was beautiful, and the peace and solitude was refreshing!

Posted: 8/25/2007 7:47:37 PM | Being at home is a choice, I could be elsewhere :), but with no good person to be out with, I sure choose to stay away from the rest !! There are still a few, although a very few people to chat with here on POF. If it really bothers you, just hope for the best.
Hell, when you do get someone, you will probably be at your place or their's on a Saturday night. Its all in the mind.......................... | |
