| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 8/25/2007 9:12:28 PM | I think I blew out my knee and I'm wondering whether to go to emergency or tough it 'til Monday for $20 dr. visit.
They won't do anything for you there other than give you a knee brace, pain med and tell you to go see an Orthopaedic Dr.
So keep it elevated, iced and wrap it or get a knee brace.

I went down to the general store in my small town. Bought MORE cigarettes and some cheese for my brunch gathering tomorrow.
I did look up at the moon as I drove down the mountain. I even noticed some stars coming out. It made me remember how much I like sitting under the stars with a great guy who likes to talk about the stars and constellations and comment on how lovely the moon looks tonight. I know a great place high up on King Mountain that has a rock garden. There are trails all over the place and rare succulents that are endangered. You can see rolling mountains forever! I'm to chicken to go alone in the night...and besides I'd just keep reaching around in the dark trying to find that hand to hold...hoh hum. | |

I was in a general store once in Arizona. I couldn't find anything specific to buy....

I am home watching a show about the 9-11 conspiracy theories. That kind of show makes for a full night for me. Though it's after 1am where I am and I should go to sleep. | |

Posted: 8/25/2007 10:12:46 PM | No one I want to date and no bands I want to see. So I made myself shrimp scampi and took nice pictures of the sunset while walking my doggie dog. I used to get all bent out of shape if I didn't have plans for Saturday night since my son is always with his dad on this night every week. Now I just don't care.

I have my kids this weekend; ergo, no dates for me. Of course...I will be here next Saturday night, too, when they are at their dad's....lol...:(
same here.
Sometimes when I don't have them for the weekend and I do go out, I often wish I hadn't. It sucks to be in a place where everyone else around you is having a good time and you could just as well be invisible. The only bright side is if I like the band and they let me record the performance. | |

4. Got church in the morning.

I didn't make plans because I thought I just wanted to relax at home with my book...but I began feeling lonely so I went to a bookstore, a bar (big mistake that ended with me throwing my Shiraz on some idiot), then to the grocery store to buy some Tide To Go (that damned Shiraz got on me a little too) and chocolate ice cream. SO...tonight I'm dating Ben and Jerry!!! | |

I had the chance to have tonight off, but decided to have sunday off because I was suppose to have a date, but Said girl isnt answering her celly, so I have no plans for sunday either.
God I love living the single life lol. But oh well, I always have my hand to look forward to | |
