| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 9/2/2007 12:07:49 AM | I worked till 11:00 tonight, stopped off at a friends house till 1:00 and came home. I work 2:00 till 11:00 Sunday. Why am I here tonight? Better than T.V. and cheaper than the bar!  | |

| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 9/2/2007 12:12:09 AM | I am here on a saturday night because this is where I am every night. I am on a self-imposed exile from the outside world at the moment and my home is my refuge..... I rarely ever leave my house unless I have to...and what's worse is that I am posting this at 3 in the morning because not only am I home alone on a saturday night, but I can't sleep neither!

| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 9/2/2007 12:16:09 AM | I did plan to go out- my birthday is Tuesday. But I looked at my bank account and found nothing left after bills paid. Most of my friends are broke. So I am messing about on the net.
I did get a wonderful present though, from my mom. She has had this italian marble, round table- about the size and height of a coffee table- for about 15 years. Beautifully painted with all kinds of things- like the sistine chapel drawings. It is from 1915. She always said she would will it to me. I have looked it up, it is worth about 4k.
I went to her house after work today and she told me to take the table, for my birthday. I was floored. My housemate helped me take it upstairs to my bedroom- the top weighs about 75 lbs. I put it in front of a 1950s oval love seat I have in their from an antique auction. Looks perfect.
So, though I am sitting here, doing nothing, I got one of my best birthday presents ever.

2. Some of the guys I date on this site live over an hour away.
3. I went out on Friday night and I need to stay in.

I love when people ask on Fridays, "any plans?"
Then you say no, and they act like you're from Pluto.
I cut my grass, did my laundry, and relaxed all day. I had a rough week. | |

Posted: 9/29/2007 7:20:51 PM | Essentially...I chose to be. I declined a couple dates.
Then again, rent is due, bills have to be paid, and I have been under the weather lately.
Sometimes, going out is just another stress I can't be bothered with. Besides, I was out last Saturday night.
Some strange guy did bump me at the club, then leaned in and kissed my cheek...telling me that it was because I was so pretty.  I'm sure that line works for some. I ignored the entire gesture and walked away. I'm such a coldhearted b!tch! In truth, he should have fallen at my feet and kissed my toes, begging forgiveness. *chuckling* That might have impressed me.

But the guy who says he "loves" me and we are in a exclusive relationship is on this site right now trying to find a hookup. :) Life is weird. | |

Posted: 9/29/2007 7:48:26 PM | I got tired of putting up with stupid dates who couldn't deal with what they thought was " a rich ****" when I'd invite them to the house. I am not and repeat NOT rich. But, I've made a good life and have a nice house. I always tried to give the benefit of the doubt to the guys I liked especially when I knew they might not have the income I do. I kept getting comments like, "I can't afford you" and "damn, you must be hookin' to pay for this". Classy, huh?
So, I'm home because I choose to be. Life is pleasant with me, myself, I, and the cat; no hassles, just peacefulness. She loves me without make up. Oh, and besides, I had a hospital stay this last week, so I'm recuperating. My doc would be pissed if he knew I was using my hands/arms to type. Oh well.... | |

Posted: 9/29/2007 7:53:37 PM | Unlike most answers im home alone this saturday night and online this saturday night cause i am alone. I have no one. I am not enjoying it. I am very unhappy and sad. I have no one that wants to be with me or even cares. LIke the big loser i am i search anyway hoping some miracle will happen and i will find someone that sees something to love for real in me ..I sound negative..but i am loveable. I am loving. I am worthy of love..i know i am a good person. I have to tell this stuff to myself. I have loved..but my love has been thrown away. Sorry im way off the track. Just too much time alone. Yes i very much hate being home alone on a saturday night but i have no friends to go out with and too shy and scared to go out alone. so here i am. im glad most people are not home due to this reason. There is enough pain out here already. | |

Your profile shows what a caring and loving person you really are! It won't be a miracle for you to find a great love; it is inevitable. You're pretty, are loveable, and yes worthy of love. Whoever threw away your love was a whack job.
I've put in a movie from years ago and just listening to it; noise in the background. Why not do what I'm going to tomorrow? I'm going to spoil myself a bit; nails, pedicure, and if I get a big ol urge, a massage.

The bar scene gets tiring after awhile, and it's all the same faces weekend after weekend. If there was someone worth dating here I'd not be on a dating site now would I ? lol
*Edit* I guess I shouldn't of said worth...that wasn't nice, I'm sure there is someone, just no one I'm interested in. It's kind of weird when you know most everyone. They are either good friends, or like a brother, and so on, it would be far to weird to date them.. | |
