| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 10/20/2007 9:37:04 PM | My five top reasons for being here on a saturday nite.
1) I wash my hair once a week and tonight is the night.
2) Reading the forums all day long, keeps me from getting a date.
3) I only have one outfit I wear to go out in, and it's at the cleaners right now.
4)I had to perform brain surgery this morning and I forgot to put in the brain, so I am a bit upset about it.
5)The Pope needs my help with tomorrow mornings sermon. Go figure.

| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 10/20/2007 10:10:18 PM | I actually date more during the week than I do on the weekends. And I did have a date earlier in the day....but who says Saturday night is DATE NIGHT??
I know it always used to be....but not the same any more.
I live in a college town with football games on Saturdays.......if you go to the game it's an
all day thing......it's almost always on the tube......another reason to stay in......but the 80,000 extra people make restaurants almost impossible. So a lot of times on Saturday, I just hibernate, catch up from a busy week.......whatever.
Yes, and sometimes I just have nothing to do because I made no plans...no one asked me...
but it's not the end of the world. I try not to look for things to be unhappy about. Instead,
I look at what I already did this week that made me happy. Try it.......it's not bad!!

Posted: 10/20/2007 10:24:23 PM | | hmm lets see, because i go out every friday, because my ex decided he was gonna skip out on his weekend so I had to cancel a date,because I didnt realize my mother would be willing to babysit until it was too late to do anything that I had the oppertunity to do,because no one wanted to come over and just hang out, and because sometimes it's nice to just stay home and talk to people...i think..lol | |

Actually, U of Michigan had an evening game out of town. No matter, we had a large party on campus anyway. By the time I got home from that I didn’t really want to go anywhere else.

Anyway, I’m retired, so every night is about the same as a weekend night to me.

Oh, how my feet hurt right now from dancing. Of course, sometimes theres nothing wrong with staying in on a Saturday night and just chillin either. Cant wait until the next Saturday night to do it all over again!!!!! | |

I'm at work :( 11pm-9am cause $ doesn't grow on trees.......
Ditto that for me too, but although I work weekends I have the freedom to change my hours if I want. On Fridays I get done at 7 a.m. and then come back at about 3 or 4 p.m. to work my Saturday, giving me all day Saturday. If I wanted Friday night off I can work during the day on Saturday. I usually work my Sunday just after midnight, but I am free to work it whenever I like. | |

I am not self employed, but since I volunteered to work the weekend my boss allows me to work those 16 hours whenever I like. If I had something I wnated to do on a Friday night or a Saturday night or both I could just work my hours around it, and have. The great thing is that on the weekend I can never be late for work. | |
