What a great Idea, I can recieve mail from anyone as well... so the closer this gets lets keep the reminder open...with Stephanie, Jeannette, and your bluegirl along with myself.... We can do this girls... we need to show them guys we are not chicken, just a little OLD FASHION WAYS WE HAVE...

Posted: 9/12/2007 3:23:56 AM | hey new people, it's always hit or miss for me down here in the city, live in bay city, but i'd just like to say that motown and beach throw great parties, there are always abundant hugs, handshakes, and warm welcomes...lol, i was so nervous at my first party, i think i lost ten pounds worrying about "nothing", lol...not only did and do i have a great time at these events, i've met some pretty great people, men and women alike...so, take your shoes off, roll up those jeans, get your feet wet, and you'll all be in the warm water swimming before you know what happened to ya...wish i could make it to this one, but schedule jumped a week early so i'll be leaving town on the 23rd, and kickers is just too far for me...have a drink and a dance for me....hope to see all the ghouls at the halloween bash

I'm going to try something different this time to ID us POFers. I'll still have my trusty hand stamper, but I printed out some POF logo things people can have at their tables. They're free standing but I'm hoping the tables will have some kind of menu or drink plastic sign "holders" where you can insert the logo, to make it easier for others to see. I will NOT wear silly nametags; just not gonna do it....no way!!

Posted: 9/12/2007 1:06:16 PM | I agree, BlueGirl's solution to our dilema of being "newbies" is ideal. I have also changed my profile settings to accept notes from anyone. Unfortantly, I won't know if I will have house guests until about a wk before the event, but I will definitely be in touch with someone if circumstances allow me to attend. I don't know many within my area and the one's I know are married, so bringing someone with me really isn't much of an option. Thank You all for the friendly welcome!
