Twice.
To a photo with A CLEAR VIEW OF MY FACE that's been there for months. Containing no hat, sunglasses or "comedy" moustache.
And yet photos of kittens, mountains, cartoons or David Beckham seem common in other profiles.

Funny, how so many here complain about their pictures yet it is evident they don’t get what is “visible” as they have photos with sunglasses or hats covering half their face or the photo is so dark you could be my grandfather and I wouldn't recognize you. | |

Posted: 2/19/2009 5:57:00 AM | Maybe it’s just me but lately there seem to be more unrecognizable photos rather than fewer. Probably not high on the priority listas to why so many seem to have photos stay up a long time before deletion. I am sure the inbox and report box are overflowing.
Big Bird wasn't even in the Muppets
JYI……..the characters from Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock as well, are also Muppets. They were all created by Jim Henson (or someone in his company) even if they weren’t part of the Muppets Show “cast”. They have appeared on many other TV shows.

I was folowing the rules and seen far far worse pics out there , .. and what is really funny ! ....THERE STILL UP !... and mine got pulled ??? ...And the thing was the pic of me was clear to the rules and has been up for a very long time with nothing but good coments from others that are interested in me , and also was completly with in the bondries on the rules ! .... contacted the ones from above 4 times ! but no response or anserws ??? ................ but what I have seen and read , I am not the only one getting****d around with no clear anserws , just mixed words , unclear BS and rederic ...........clearly another good thing or site turning political or politicly correct bs ! and simply no clear anserws just represing you with BS , because they feel like it or have some weird hang up about your pic ... and it is very clear it is nothing to do with the rules , they just use them as a shelter for them selves from there actions and them justifying there BS ......and simply ! So they dont have to give you a clear ansrew of why ! Clearly from what I have seen and read , and others have too ! Its shear candy coated BS and nothing but ! In reality, because its there site and just cause they can ! and they want you to buy into there site now and so then they will give you back your privileges again !........... | |

I pay next to no Attention to these Claims, because most of the Time Users haven't even read the Pic upload Rules or he hasn't connected the Dots in some Form.
Secondly, your upload Privilidges were revoked by the Admin, not merely Pics voted off by the User Base. That alone throws complete Discreditably on your Statements. Take it up with him.

I just came back to the site...tried uploading more recent pics and when i click upload nothing happens...i mean the page refreshes as though i hadnt done anything and the pic didnt upload...i tried with several pics and all the same result. They are 30k jpegs....I have never had this issue beofre and I am sure they comply with rules for allowable content. | |

Posted: 6/5/2009 7:55:35 AM | When you try to upload images all you see are these guidelines.
Cartoons, celebrity, Torso and Joke pictures are not allowed.
Make sure the image is in JPG, BMP or GIF format.
You can share these private pictures with other members when sending them a message.
You can now edit your thumbnails, if they are distorted!
More help for Add / Change / Delete Images Allow others to rate your image
Serious Users can upload 16 images instead of the normal 8.
ALL pictures MUST contain you in it with a visible head shot at minimum
If there are so many other ambiguous criteria as detailed throughout this thread and referred to on others would it not be a good idea to make the uploading instructions far more specific to avoid confusion? | |

I was browsing profiles the other day, and, being a railfan, one of them caught my eye. It was a pic of a woman inside a Pullman-Standard commuter coach. I recognized the interior of the car immediately.
Now, the orange interior cars, dating to the 1950s, were retired three to four years ago. The cab control cars were all gone even longer ago. Metra Rail reinstated ten or so standard coaches, but they have all new interors that are a rather sterile blueish.
Anyway, this woman's age as of now is 20, and given that the coach she is aboard, was retired at least three years ago, she had to have been under 18 when the picture was taken.
How does admin/site caretakers handle that? I mean, it is not a current picture, the old commuter coach interior gives that away, but it isn't something anyone without knowledge of railroad equipment would notice either.
If I were to report the picture, I don't think anyone who reviews it would really understand, and would've punished me or something. | |
