finally someone comments on the RAPS...... we are going to be such a force this year, bargs is going to start hitting his stride, bosh is going to be well bosh, we have the best pg combo in the league with ford and calderon (except possibly the suns, but balbosa plays a lot of sg there) plus with the signings weve made this summer like kapono Maceo Baston, Jermano Moon, and Delfino, just think of it this way, if we have bargs, either pg, kapono and parker on the floor with bosh, we'll have 4 shooters around the arc, with bosh have a hell of a lot of room to do what he does best, go to the basket, out offence is going to be able to streach soooo much d bosh is going to playing like dwight howard this year...

go RAPS

Skan, I think you are on to something. I think the Raps could haver their best record in their history.
That said, Keep an eye on the Rockets! They have added the right players to the equation to challange the Suns & Spurs. The Mavs are the Mavs come playoff time. Enough said..

thank's for the support ndru, cause homestly I've been a big raps fans since the VC days gad damn VC stopping playing because he wants a trade and is a wimp, but honestly going from seeing them 2 years ago to getting draft pick #1 Bargs and basically because of Bryan Collelangelo being Bryan, lol, they were soooo much better last year, and with like I said in my last post our off season signings we are gonna rack in the east this year, def top of the atlantic, and I think we're gonna take the east cup and make the finals

Have you people forgot about the NUGGETS! Melo AI and I might add that K-Mart is back. Last year suck for us AI comes to Denver Melo is out for Suspension things didn't start clicking tell the end and by that time it was to late. Spurs yes are a dominating team but will NOT WIN back to back it will be the Nuggets or Suns winning the West and Boston in the East so goodbye to Clevand James is very good people but does not have the help like Nuggets have for Melo.

I like the Nuggets, mostly because of Camby hes one of my favorite players, hes come a long way since he started with the Raptors, and his team seems filled with talent now that they have AI. Boston is doing about as good as I would have thought, only it didn't seem like it took anytime for the team to gel with the big three stars.

Out of the elite teams I would hope Pheonix will take it all the way, the Spurs are too boring and have hogged enough championships, they're good and they have proven it but I'd certainly rather watch and root for other teams to go all the way.

Raptors are my team this season, I used to love the Raptors and Knicks (once bitter rivals), but ever since they got rid of Allan Houston and picked up cancer... aka Marbury and Isaiah Thomas, its very hard for me to root for them anymore. Raptors had such a nice breakout year last year, and now they have even more acquired talent as well as improved. So Raptors wont have it as easy as last year with division rival teams like Boston.

I still miss Vince Carter...
I dont mind watching NJ games but maybe one day he'll be back haha...
Then we can bring an NBA championship home to Canada where it belongs.

Actually, your Football, Baseball and NBA are played by men. American men. The CFL is made up of washed out NFL wannabes, and you have to import players to stock your girlie teams. Aside from Hockey...what exactly are the sports your referring too??...Curling?..Figure skating?

I check the standings weekly simply to see how quickly Boston and Minnesota are moving in opposite directions. About 30 games have been played, and, if they were in the same division, Minny would be about 23 games behind the Celtics. What a difference a player makes......

basketball is obviously a sport that 2bignorant does not understand. there is not even a five foot five player in the league. non contact, try stopping shaq from getting to the rim. how about when someone sets a pic you dont see coming. the rim is a the height it should be. imagine 10 year old boys playing on a rim higher than 10 feet. i have seen you continually post about basketball and the only word you can muster is girly, point taken. i really dont like hockey but do you see me making stupid statements about it? no. i would love to see your dropped into an nba team meeting with your avalanche jersey on and then proclaim that basketball is a girly sport. whoops, earl boykins is the lone 5 foot 5 player in the league the next shortest is nate robinson at 5 foot 9

Congrats to the Lakers for winning the West & returning to the Finals! I sure hope it will be Lakers/Celtics but the Pistons seem to play at their best when facing elimination.
