| SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN KARAOKE, DOWNTOWN TORONTO 10/27/2007 Posted: 10/21/2007 3:38:35 PM | Okay, I'm officially stoked for this party!!!
I FINALLY found my costume!!! Took a bit of driving around: the first one I bought didn't fit, and it wasn't made of a stretchy enough material to fit my, uh, rather large frame. The only drawback? It's only a rental.
What IS it, you ask? Show up on Saturday and find out!!!

| SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN KARAOKE, DOWNTOWN TORONTO 10/27/2007 Posted: 10/22/2007 9:12:21 PM | Hey G? Maybe you could go way out on a limb and dress up as a security professional
I considered wearing the scrubs for a moment.. but then I might forget where I am & then someone would be getting poked with a needle.
Sigh.
Woohoo for Karaoke! | |

| SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN KARAOKE, DOWNTOWN TORONTO 10/27/2007 Posted: 10/23/2007 7:14:52 AM | Hi true and any others:
I am bringing (and it's my first time also) 3 other people - but we were wondering about the dinner part - is it something we order all together - or is it individual and we all pay our own - or chip in money? Do you have to know ahead of time if we are eating - not sure if we are going to eat but thought I better ask?
Help????
cheers

| SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN KARAOKE, DOWNTOWN TORONTO 10/27/2007 Posted: 10/23/2007 7:21:33 PM | okay, mae, i have given thought to wearing security gear... among other things... i dont know yet, we shall see!
as for the dinner, its something ordered individually. depending on what time you get there you may be able to sit with me and the other host, or you may have to find a group of fishies to join, but its always a great time! with awesome people.
theres normally a special menu for us, with better prices, im not sure what it is, but wither myself, or TNSF will find out if there is one, and if so what it is.... and we'll post it here for everyone. also note, the whole menu is GREAT.... everyone will have a crack at good food
email me personally, if theres any questions.

| SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN KARAOKE, DOWNTOWN TORONTO 10/27/2007 Posted: 10/23/2007 8:33:51 PM | Is anyone driving up from Hamilton that I can get a ride home with? I don't need a ride there as I can easily take GO. However, coming back I'd have to leave at 12am at the LATEST and then I'd probably miss the last bus to my apartment in Hamilton at 1am. Or alternatively, is anyone going to be staying over in TO that would like to share a Hotel room?
Let me know, Kimberly | |

| SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN KARAOKE, DOWNTOWN TORONTO 10/27/2007 Posted: 10/28/2007 5:32:36 PM | Thanks to those who came out last night. Hopefully a good time was had by all?
I owe someone a beer... you know who you are, but you never told me when your glass was empty!
An apology to those who were displaced by the pub staff. This was the first time they've ever reserved space for their "regulars". We've been doing events at the Groundhog for just over two years, and they've always told the regulars that they're expecting a big crowd the following week, and that if they want a seat, they'd better show up early. A lot of the pub's "regulars" who raised a fuss about being moved weren't even in costume. Who comes to a Halloween party and doesn't wear a costume???
Something else I want to address... I hope no one showed up last night, saw the $10 cover charge for JP's party (or whatever his name was) downstairs and left. That was NOT a PoF-related event.
Hopefully, the next event will be New Years' Eve!

Now about this New Years bash, will anyone be dressed in a diaper as Baby New Year? Depends on who? I vote for Elvis clone to be the baby New Year. He'd look adorable!
Speaking of adorable, I missed Austin. He must have left early. Austin Powers, dahling, if you're out there, big . See you again sometime. Thanks for the party, guys. A~*
