Thank you to all the ladies who too the time to respond to this thread. Seems like most all of you would never want the fake breasts. From a mans point of view I'm not about to say that I don't think the fake ones look nice, because they do. I can understand though how if you are blessed with what God gave you and you don't have issues with them because of child birth etc, then stick to the natural.

From a guys point of view I can't imagine having any kind of implant or any foreign object stuck in my body. I suppose if I also was very unhappy with something then I might consider, like if I was in a car wreak or something then yes I would want things done to my body to make things as good as they can be again. Just depends on the person I suppose. My opinion is unless you really need them, then yes don't get fake breasts.

1. No - I am happy with my C cup. But I am not the best person to ask. I've never been insecure about my size... I understand those who have been.
2. Real look better than fake... fake looks so uncomfortable. Plus large boobs on your size 0 frame... looks silly. I dunno, personal opinion.

Looks like the majority that have posted hold my opinion on the matter...real is better.

I am a very nice size 34DD. I have nursed four boys and they are still nice an perky after all that. I think that implants look and feel fake. They don't bounce the way real ones do and have you ever noticed that they stay the same shape and in the same location no matter what position the rest of your body happens to be in. Plus, the nerve damage done from the cutting during surgery leaves most without feeling. Personally, I want to be able to tell someones touching me there even when my eyes are closed.

I would only consider it if reconstruction was necessary and even then it would be a difficult one.

Interesting thread...

No...I would not.

But I was watching a TV spot the other nite for the new season of Beauty and the Geek

I about spewed my soda all over the living room watching a blonde say that she felt her implants were an 'investment' because of all the money she was going to save having men in bars buy her drinks.

Oh bother.

I think fake tits look the same and well...they look fake...

I like natural boobies...softer, they move around more...I'd take nice real boobs over nice fake tits anyday. :)

I just can't believe she would actually say that. Oh the poor guys that think they are really going to get a date with her and that she might actually like one of them.

Gee, RichYo, does that mean you wouldn't go out with a lady who's had reconstructive surgery? Let's say she'd had breast cancer, or there was some congenital defect that was corrected. Is she to be scratched off your "datable" list because she cared enough about her appearance to do something about it?

I really REALLY like a nice pair of breasts on women, but no woman's ever been so flat chested that I would not go out with her, if other things about her interested me. I've dated women with augmentation, and thought very little about it one way or the other. I guess if I HAD to make some kind of choice, I'd probably opt for smaller and natural over bigger and "bolt-on".

Well, only one person spoke about emotional reasons women do this surgery. My sister was always as flat chested as a man . (I think she felt similar to a man I once knew who had a very small penis.) When she finally divorced a man who was verbally abusive, and actually told her what he found wrong with her breasts, she came out of the marriage feeling terrible about her body image. Then she began to exercise, diet, buy new clothes, and go back to college. She also got the breast implants, but not huge ones. She looks great, but not fake. She used all of these things to rebuild her self-esteem, and she said she didn't lose any feeling in them. I'm glad she was able to recoup. some of her self worth. By the way, she says that to say "fake boobs" is wrong. It is her real boobs, but with the gel type pocket inserted under that lifts them.
I say if you are happy with yourself, don't change. But if you need a little help, go for it, but use moderation.

I don't think fake look better. Most look fake and obvious. Most over do it. Most are shaped funny, too big for the body size and tissue around it

Exactly. I am a huge fan of natural, no matter what the size.

I will answer #3 because lately I'v been with a woman who had a reduction, and I personnaly know 3 who have had reductions, one of them actually had to have 2 reductions.
All of the woman were extremely happy with the reduced weight = less back pain and bra straps digging into their shoulders, and them being able to buy off the rack (pardon the pun) clothing.
Plus, although I've only "handled" one pair in my life, I must say that reduced breasts are as natural as can be. Except maybe for the fact that a woman in her 30's or 40's or 50's will end up with breast that feel and look as if they came off of a 18yr old.

Sheladam1,

Great point. What are the mental benefits and physical dangers?

I lived with a wonderful gal that wanted to have back what she had before kids. She had the through nipple behind the breast wall implants. $8,000.00. They were spectacular. I was with her before during and after. The 8 weeks of pain, then discomfort, I wondered if it was worth it. She was much less sensitive. I didn't care for that loss. I did enjoy the required massage during the healing process and after. I really missed the "turn-on" factor. This woman would never show cleavage anyway. As a man, I don't care what size. I love them all. I want a woman to feel good about herself. It shouldn't matter how a man feels about it. Beauty is inside.

Enhancements can be done through the naval or the armpit. Please leave those nipples alone.

Nope, unless I lost them to cancer. I have enough of my own, thank you. At 48, they have not yet met the acquaintance of my knees are in proportion to the rest of me, and are still perky.

1. Would you ever get a breast enhancement done to your body? If so why?
no i wouldnt get it done because i have been blessed with good breasts, even after 4 children they are great. although i wouldnt mind a nip/tuck in other areas.

2. Do you feel natural breasts look better then the fake ones? or fake look better then the real? If so why?

i hate the real high up, water melon look, i hate that whole barbie doll image that is imposed on us females. it is so fake looking, imo, if your going to get implants done, get them done so you look natural. i have seen implants on women that looked so real and they look great. so i think the result all depends on your surgeon.
that is just my opinion.

personally, fake is out. quality has nothing to do with size.

however, I did see a fascinating study the other day (and, of course, now I can't find the damn thing) that showed that women with breast enhancements make significantly more money overall.

as James Brown pointed out, its a man's world.

To all the Women in POF land I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this.

Let's suppose money was no issue at all.

1. Would you ever get a breast enhancement done to your body? If so why?

2. Do you feel natural breasts look better then the fake ones? or fake look better then the real? If so why?

3. Last question. To any woman who had her breasts enhanced in any way, larger or reduced. Are you happy with the results? Or do you regret it? If so why?

Thank you for responces, just wondering how you all felt on this.

1. Not a chance. If you had asked why not.. I would have told you! lol .. there is biaise in them thar questions OP!
2. Natural is Natural .. I like natural Anything vs fake..
3. I guess that question isn't for me.

I worded the question in the way that I did because I felt it left things very open for any woman to respond. Not sure why you seen my question as being bias. How so?
You still could have responded with. "I would never get that done because.... "

To respond to your question. I would not have anything altered when it comes to myself because I'm happy with that area that you name. phew. I will say this though. One lady pointed out a very good point. She said what about the emotional reasons for people who have things done to their body in some way, to make themselves feel better. How do you feel about that?

My response to that is I agree. I said in a previous post that women should never get anything done to there body unless it's something that was to correct a problem for a accident. I want to expand on that and I agree with what the other poster said. First if something truly will make a person feel better about themselves and as long as it's not a overly dangerous operation then I think it's fine if someone wants to change something about their body. I think a lot of thought needs to be put into it though and it's a huge choice to make to go under the knife for anything. The mistake that many people make is I think they don't do enough research to find the right surgeon sometimes and also they sometimes are not 100 percent sure they really do want a certain procedure done.

My advice to anyone who thinks about having any sort of cosmetic surgery done. Make sure you find out for sure that the DR is licensed and get references BEFORE you even consider going under the knife for ANYTHING with that DR. Bad surgery is usually always the result of not getting the correct information ahead of time and finding out what your really getting into. Second, take a extra year to make sure this is not a passing phase. Make sure that it's something that you really want to do and ask yourself truly why you want this done. If time as passed and your sure of what you want done, then by all means go for it.

If money was no issue I would definitely go in but maybe to have reduction or lift since im particularly blessed but more for comfort then cosmetic. I dont find fake breasts attractive but ive never seen them up close so im not sure all ive seen are hollywoods exaggerations. Give me a pair of pairs to fondle and ill get back to you on that lol

well I'm content with my size, but if money were no object then sure I would. though I would not get them much bigger and try to find a doctor that knows how to do the natural look. for the most part I would do it to fill them back up cause after the kiddos...well...things just ain't what they used to be.

besides...it would probably balance out my a$$

Some interesting questions. I personally love my breasts and think that they are much better than some implants I have seen/groped. That said, some jobs (when done properly) can look better than natural. I would never consider implants as I feel that 36C is the perfect size. However, if I should ever be blessed with kids someday...and the twins end up heading south a lil...well I might be inclined to have them lifted up.

I kinda feel sorry for women who feel to badly about their breast size that they would undergo painful, risky, and expensive procedures on implants..but I guess that is the sign of the world we all live in.

Hell Yeah i'd get them done....just so I could lie on my back and put a tv tray on the top of them to hold my drink (with a straw of course)!....Ever notice how they stay in the exact same spot when the woman lies down?....
