| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 9:09:32 AM | alpinebryon...you are one busy man. Eventually you will catch up with our crazy bunch.
Looks like some already backed out because I only see 48 there today. Even so, it will be fun. Like KAT said, the comfort zone will grow and with that.. the events will be different but just as good. Sometimes different is nice for a change!!

| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 9:23:25 AM | Exactly, Susie-Q! I think these things would tend to feel "same ole, same ole" or repetitious if we had them at the same place or were constanly trying to top one with the other! It is not a competition! :)
Some peeps are going to want a smaller scale turn out for their de-virginizing of events....some feel they can blend in more with a huge group. There will be events to cater to all!
If you are a newbie to this...the main thing to remember is to not be intimidated! Read the thread to the 8/24 event...many of us were nervous about this...and here we are just a begging for the next one to get here! Just don't be a chicken! ;)

| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 11:21:47 AM | Kat and Susie ... Tell them I will be happy to walk them in the door ..like last time I kept one girl ( no names to protect the guilty ) from leaving cause she was in the lobby and afraid to walk in .. I am from KC but would be willing to walk in anybody ( man or woman ) and intro you to anyone I met last time :)
See you all there,
Steve ( the shy one ) | |

| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 1:35:11 PM | Stevie,
I want to be walked in the door... I am shy!
ps can someone tell me what shy means? Darn, the 29th just seems so far away.
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 3:19:51 PM | | sounds like we have a new program director! LOL looking forward to meeting the man with the ideas. but i'm not sure if we want to mix hooks and alcohol, i can imagine the results, on the bright side though, there would be lots of "ouchies" to kiss | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 3:21:09 PM | | it also looks like goldwing has volunteered to be the front door ambassador! this party is running itself. | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 3:26:46 PM | OK BIG GUY I am on it got one more idea I wiil buy a box of lures to hand out at the door so when someone is entrested in someone they can give them there lure and at the end of the nite who ever has the most lures get to keep the tent... and win a trip for two on a ing trip with the one they want to take sound like a plan ??????? | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 4:06:14 PM | | Looking forward to the event...but is there anyone in Shrewsbury or Webster Groves that would like to ride together??? | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 4:14:26 PM | OMGosh, Lucky...sounds like the freaking clothespin game ladies are forced to play at showers! LMAO Only for that one, we are not allowed to cross our legs, or we lose the clothespin! LMAO
I think the lure idea is actually cute...but not whoever collects the most...sounds like we are promoting swapping or slutting or something like that! LOL
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 4:55:51 PM | The lure idea is kind of cute, lol. Then we could all get fish shaped name tags, lol. At least we'd know if someone was part of the group from a distance. | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 5:56:12 PM | The fish shaped name tags sound great. I wonder if the ones from the last event survived? They sucked anyway, so these would be better. This meet is the Halloween event right? Just checking to make sure. I wouldn't want to show up in a costume, and be the only one. "Oh, I thought this was the costume party...." "I understand, but this is the Streak costume. Do I really have to wear something else besides shoes?" Funny thought isn't it? This sounds fun and exciting with so many people attending. I'm amped up for it. Jeffrey | |

| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 8:28:08 PM | LOL...JEFFREY...no...it is NOT the Halloween one...as it is Sept. 29th! LOL The Halloween one will be OCT. More info to follow! But you are quite welcome to show up as a streaker, any time! | |

Jeffrey Well, if anyone is interested in fish name tags, let me know. I'd be willing to try to come up with a design & make them for everyone. I like doing that kind of stuff, & I'm pretty creative. Just need to know what all needs to go on them, like the persons profile name? Real first name? POF? Also, incase I can't make it to this get together, I need to know who I could contact within a few days before the event to drop off the name tags with.
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 9:35:33 PM | | I think im free to go, i havent been to one of these before. I do kinda guess i wont need a name tag, i mean how many other English dudes are going to be there? lol. I could always keep my mouth shut and let you guess. | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 10:17:22 PM | | Normally I don't post, but had to tell ya all that I loved the fishin lure idea posted by lucky_63 - I do agree with the hook and alcohol thing thou - could get a bit messy. Course, the one with the most band-aids OR fishing LURES wins a drink! To take away the pain... | |
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 10:23:58 PM | the lure idea is good, but will have to 'declaw' them, or just by a bunch of jigs without hooks...
Jeffry, go ahead and come to St Charles party in costume (hell, I do most of the time anyway, lol)
| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 8/31/2007 11:56:42 PM | wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
this is going to be another great party... can't wait.. I love the lure thing.. too clever.

| St.. Charles Meet & Greet Posted: 9/1/2007 8:27:36 AM | | Lucky, it looks like your idea is a hit! let's see how we can run with it...suggestions anyone? This is looking like it's going to be a great time, already almost 60 people going, and it's still 4 weeks away! Anyone else have any ideas for contests or games? | |
