And tailgazer, I suspect the people who care whether the hair color is real are the same ones who care whether the ta-tas are real. Not many....

Always had a red tinge to my hair and the beard was all red at one time. Now the red turns to white, Sigh.
I believe there were few redheads on the British Isles until the Vikings came through. One of our more famous ancesters was Eric The Red. | |

I myself have 4 children, the girls are blonde, the boys are dark,, their dad had dark hair. My brother has six children, his wife has brown hair,, all his six children are blonde,, so ,, where has the red hair gone????????  | |

Redheads or Blondes going extinct would be a catastrophe, unfortunately, it often seems like they are the ones working as hard as they can to precipitate their own demise.
By the way, there are people in central Asia who have red (usually curly) hair, sometimes grey or almost blue eyes on top of very Asian features.
Not sure which Viking or Gothic tribe got quite that lost, but there they are..... | |

I am one of them ... redheads are the last to have their hair turn grey .. actually it turns white. My father is 63 and only has gotten white hair on the temples in the last 4-5 years .. and he still has his redhair. Redhair is a dominate gene so lets hope it does continue... I`d feel bad for this world without redheads .. but then again .. I wont be around then to worry . | |

Blondes are probably more on the endangered side, as 90% of them are dye jobs...bad dye jobs at that.

Posted: 3/9/2008 9:42:44 PM | I often think that if I were Caucasian, I would love being a natural redhead. Years ago as I was walking around the waterfront I saw a redheaded family. The young parents had a baby in the stroller and they all had hair the tone of the Irish setter that accompanied them. I doubt that the adult couple dyed their hair because who in their right mind would dye their baby's hair? They all made quite an attractive sight..I had to walk over and compliment them. Blond is o.k but I think blond hair is overated. !!!

yeah, asian chix have no red hair but chestnut, or black or is a mix with russian blood.
