My harley is in my profile because it is a part of who I am. If you accept me then you accept my bike and everything that comes with it. I have dated a few who pretended to be cool with the biker lifestyle to change their tune in a few months and attempted to get me to give up one ride for another...........not gonna happen. So consider it a forewarning, of course like I will say time and time again, having a Harley and some leather doesn't make you a biker.....

Bonnie B, do you have any idea how many women state in their profile that they love Harley's and/or biking?

I hope this answers your question.

Walks into the room on my knuckle's ,rubs belly looks for samich.

There's room for everyones likes and dislikes.

There's as many reasons why people like or dislike Harley's as there are people.

I have my own reasons,I don't have the time or inclination to list them.

Don't you just luv the computer, the modern day message in a bottle.

I don't care what it costs repairs or other such expenses.I worked hard for my toy . I think i deserve it. I can afford it.Made a promise to myself and i have kept that promise.Thank god for bikes and the people that ride them.

^^^^^^good for you

My late hubby built(some) & rode Harleys all his life----I luved them as much as him--nothing like a rumble of a Harley & sittin' on one even better:

I think its great all you guys/gals have your toys --nothin' beats a Harley!

my 2 cents

Nope... don't have a clue ... lots I take it?

Maybe we should have one of the guys do the same as I did, randomly check 10 of their 'viewed me' profiles and see if they come up with the same results as I did..

Might be interesting.

Kilted guy said it best: "real bikers are a rare bread...harley riders are a dime a dozen..........does'nt matter WHAT you ride.......it's THAT you ride."
Most guys that have Harley's don't even ride them or very little. Riding is about fresh air & freedom, serenity & romance with yourself, your buddy's your passenger & your thoughts...

I did just that, right now. I was suprised. I took the last 10 women that viewed me,opened there profile's & looked. I was suprised to be honest, maybe even shocked. Not one of them had Bike's, ridding,Harley or motorcycle's listed... Insert scracthing head here!

(From another member of the Tartan Army)
Nobody rides a motorcycle because they have to!Riding a motorcycle takes dedication and commitment to a chosen life style.Owning a motorcycle however is open to any ***hole that wants a store bought identity.I have a 07 Dyna Wide Glide that has 18,000kms on it in six months ,all done on weekends because I work.My bike is mentioned in my profile because after 26 years of riding I still dream of the next ride and I know that out there somewhere is the right person dreaming the same dream.

Biking season is officially over now. People talk about the *fresh air* while riding a bike....but the truth is that its usually the smoke from the vehicle in front is what they inhaling. Unlike the car's in which you have ac options and climate control etc. If you are a woman then you gotto decide if you want to ride on the back of a bike and feel the *fresh (cold) air* and the rain drops hitting hard against your face or choose to the comfort of sitting on a heated leather seat in car.

Biking season may be "officially" over, but I sure saw a lot of bikes on the road this past weekend and if it wasn't for this damn broken hand, I woulda been out there myself, on my OWN bike! Even riding as a passenger, sure beats sitting beside an arrogant a$$hole.......you shouldn't knock something, if you haven't tried it.

We were out on the bikes this weekend.

A bunch of us went to the movies in the rain last week,it was fun.

I'll be out on my bike today too.

The weather doesnt determine when the riding season is over you do.

So i did a google on 'motorcycle season' and found this link:
http://www.myseniorsite.ca/driving-mcsafety.htm
According to the article (ICBC) the motorcycle season is from May to September. There is some good stats at the bottom of the article.
Car drivers you can start driving around carelessly from now till April end.

btw: Do you know that in PA and couple other states it is not required to wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle.
