The women that do dig long haired country boys have no problem telling you either as the one that like it are VERY forward at times lol. I noticed it big time when I tended bar. Maybe it's a novelty to women in my demo seeing as here in bfe KY I'm an extreme exception considering I'm not a waanabe rock star or new age hippie throw back. | |

Posted: 8/30/2012 1:11:23 AM | Personally I get alot more attention when my hair is longer. Now whether that is due to the hair or the confidence I have from thinking im more appealing is debateable.
As with anything I guess it depends on the person, different looks suit different people. And ofcourse people have their preferences.
Just go with what your comfortable with. Because if you feel good. And think you look good then you'll do better with the ladies. Alternatively if you cut your hair in a style your not comfortable with your confidence will be knocked and so you'll be less appealing.
I cant really pull off super short hair myself. End up looking dodgy. So I tend to keep it medium ish length.
One thing I've noticed is people can be really into hair. Sometimes girls will just sit their and play with your hair for hours on end. | |

you can believe in freedom and equality all you want, but all of your intellectualizing has nothing to do with the primal essence of sexual attraction. look, attraction is a very subjective and subconscious thing that is not so easily explained (wtf does freedom & equality have to do with sex appeal?) if you want to maximize your potential for getting laid/falling in love, then try to keep up a bit with current styles. having long hair hasn't been "cool" or considered attractive for about 20+ years now. sure, some women found the whole long haired rocker look attractive, i suppose, but this was obviously a small subculture that was not representative of the majority of people during the 80s. i am sure that could be said about the whole stupid hippie 60s. most people were not long haired dirty stinky hippies with long hair that they never washed - it was a subculture. what i am trying to say is that having long hair as a man has never been all that mainstream, and today it's not even counter culture cool. a guy with long hair just looks like an old hippie to me, or a hick. if you want to increase the likelihood that you might get some then
don't wear "mom jeans." don't wear your pants real high around your waist cinched tight with a belt. Don't wear knee socks especially with shorts. Don't wear a t shirt or any shirt with the sleeves cut off please, and most of all, do not under any circumstances wear your hair in a mullet. the mullet is most likely the greatest turn off. nothing will make a woman run away screaming faster then a mullet. a mullet is like kryptonite for the vagina. in general, a man with long hair looks like he's either a rick rubin wannabe or an ex rocker that is still mad that yoko broke up the beatles - neither of which is very sexy or all that interesting. women prefer short hair on men, and men prefer long hair on women. there are studies that have confirmed this. why? i do not know, all i do know is that it just is. it has nothing to do with feminism, and it has nothing to do with freedom and equality or any other b.s. post-modernist-anarcho-hippie-naturalist -i am an individual so don't tell me how to look or dress" -stop-being -judgemental moronic drivel. it has to do with the basic primal urge of human attraction that one can not dissect in an analytical way. | |

My girlfriend let's me know when I need a trim to 'look civilized'....usually every 2 months or so. She likes my hair slightly long. It's thick and she enjoys to run her fingers through it. She also likes it when I shave every third day or so instead of every day.
Re comments about how hair length shouldn't matter. Well, I'm a product of my hormones, etc. and not a robot. I'm not attracted physically equally to all females. I definitely like a woman with long hair...at least to her shoulders. Any shorter and it's as if a switch turns off. One of my favorite things is to llift up my girlfriend's hair and nibble on her neck. She also likes it when i sit behind her and brush her hair down her back | |
