It's true that we are fiery in the bedroom but we're the same way in day to day life as well. I think that some men don't seem to realize that and can't handle it. I would like to find one that can.
When I was a kid I hated my red hair. My favourite movie was Anne of Green Gable's. It was quite funny when she died her red hair and it turned green. Honestly, the teasing as a kid was unbearable. I beat the crap out of alot of boys over it. Only to find out that they secretly had a crush on me. What is up with that? I hated the pale skin as well. Now I don't mind and have learned to work with it. I'm lucky that I can tan due to my heritage but now I don't even try. I would rather try to slow the aging process. Redheads seem to feel pain more which would make sense that they would be more sensitive to pleasure as well. I guess it is a bit of a catch 22. I have always liked my spunk and found that it gets me places in life.
I see beautiful women women in every race with all kinds of hair colour. I don't think that having redhair makes us better, just unique in our own way. | |

If backed into a corner I would have to admit red hair and freckles are my preference.
I don't know if it is the Gaelic/Celtic Blood (I also have a thing for the color plaid HAHA) Or if the red hair and a smattering of freckles across the skin brings forth that earthy "spawned of nature" wild child image in my concious.
But one thing I Do know.......... The color God gave you is usually the one that works the best for you. I don't like red hair SOOO much that I would ever ask a woman to color her hair. Be Real | |

I agree, don't know why that is?
there was a time I stayed clear of female red heads, reason jokingly being "don't know how much my father got around in his day". key words there being "there was a time"

And yea, as a kid it's awful. Annie was very popular when I was a kid and my mother had the really great idea of getting my hair permed when I was about 8 and Annie was top on Broadway. It was a nightmare.  | |

Also anemia and more blood loss/lack of clotting. (Example check how much easier you bruise than someone with brown hair that doesn't freckle.) I remember this from when I was like 23 a doctor having this discussion with me. I never researched it and it has been many years, but from my experience and talking with others about my reactions to different things, I believe it to be true. I bet real studies wouldn't be to hard to find.

Posted: 8/5/2008 4:43:30 PM | I was born with strawberry blonde hair and shirly temple curls. I have since tried every color in the book on my hair (I am lucky that every color matches my skin tone with the exception of black) and I always go back to red.
I get more compliments on the red hair than anything else! I have freckles as well but I also tan very easy.
I have met very few red headed men that attract me though. I do think that women with red hair are just more outgoing and full of fire! Gotta love the reds temper! | |

Steven Tyler stopped his limo and yelled nice hair to my sister one day. Her hair is like 40 inches of red straight hair. Mine is an auburn (kind of a light reddish with some purple added hair). I haven't measured my hair in awhile, but I'm catching up to her...
What??? He only noticed your sister??? I never realized Stephen was so near sighted... how else could he have missed you!
I am a redhead and my older sister is a redhead. I have always loved red headed women. especially with green eyes. I hoped and wished for a red-headed daughter, but no such luck. Love all my kids but sure wish one of those 3 girls coulda been a red-head. | |
